And I actually have two jobs-This one in the ICU and then my fun job in a small local hospital Neonatal ICU-which isn't usuallly busy,so I get to float out to the Mom and Baby floor-That is a great thing-love those newborns They smell so good-I get to enjoy them and then give them back to their Mommies

Do you have any Foster Kids now???? are they just regular kidos or do they have medical problems??

I was thinking after my Kids get out of the house-I would love to open our house to kids in need

i love working with kids. i just wish there was somewhere where i live i could work with them. before we moved to tennessee i worked as a 3 yr old preschool teacher. but here we live in a small town and there is nothing here.. not even a walmart.. LOL

we have 2 little girls right now. we have had them for a little over a yr now. they will be going home dec 19th . they are with their dad this weekend.

Well we are going to have an early christmas with them. we are traveling to my mom's the weekend before and they will be going with us and then we are going to have a little something for them here at home. I will miss them dearly and i will worry about the. I think dad is still on drugs but he is passing he drug screen through the dept of children services. so we will just have to wait and see. if he is a good daddy then they will be ok... if not they will be back!

That is too funny-We go down to my In-Laws every year! and the town they live in is so small compared to what I'm use to-but they do have a Wal-Mart

That's why we plan to move to the suberbs of Atl in summer-one thing DH works at the airport and the major reason is that I could never live so far from what I'm use to

That kind of situation drives me crazy-I get to see what happens to the kids when the Mom or Dad decides to go back on Drugs and then puts the Kids in danger or harms them-it's one of the saddest parts of my job-The inncocent kids/babies who suffer at the hands of their parents(or boyfriend)

I'll pray that this Dad has made a complete recovery and that your two little girls will be safe and happy with him

I am going to reach 600 talking to you.. lol... anyway... we just got a mcdonald about 4 yrs ago and got a sonic about 2 yr ago. We have 2 dollar stores (fred's and dollar general) 3 small grocery stores 3 banks, and 9 resturaunts counting mcd's and sonic... lol

Sounds just like where my In-Laws live-one major drag with all the stores lined up

They live in Murphy NC just on the other side of the mountains from you I believe
