She woke up feeling a lot better. Stuff nose but okay for the most part.

Well all heck broke loose here. The little neighbor boys came over to play and I hear my DD screaming. He pushed her and she feel and hit her head on the bookshelf. Well BLOOD was everywhere.

I don't do well with blood on my little girl.

She has a small gash on her head next to her eyebrow. DH put a butterfly bandaid on it. He seems to think that will be okay.

I am a nervous wreck now.

What am I supposed to look for with a concussion?

Where is Nurse Kim when I need her???????????

No bump. Her pupils look fine. And she is up and about now. She is not complianing about anything.

DH says it is not deep. And facial cuts bleed more because they have more blood vessals.

It stopped bleeding for the most part. We are keeping an eye on her.

she is more upset about being able to go to the party tonight.

Me, I feel sick to my stomach and want to cry.

It is about 1/2" long and not real deep. If you feel you eyebrow, you can feel the bone. She got it right after that bone.

I have no medical background, but I do have an active boy that has hit his head numerous times...on things like concrete I was told to watch for vomiting, to watch them for the first 24 hours really well, liquid coming out of an ear or nose is bad and if she falls asleep, you must nudge her every two hours or so to check she is o.k. and not completely passed out. I hope she feels better. My DD hit her head, in the eyebrow at 2. I still feel really bad, she has a little scar. Kids are tough.

That sounds like everything I have read so far. She is up and coloring right now. She said she feels fine. I am the one that is a mes.

I am sure she will end up with a scar but that is life.
