Me, my husband, my best friend and her husband went to see Rush (The band, not the man). They are touring for their 30th anniversary. Man, did they look old! They must really like each other and what they do to still be together and touring! Man, they have to be in their 50's, but boy can they rock!

This was my 5th Rush concert in my lifetime and they just get better and better. What a wonderful show!

What has been your favorite concert that you have seen so far?

Jackson Browne-Solo/Accoustic concert. Front row center seats, a special gift from my DH..

Anytime I have seen my fave band King's X, it has been a great experience. They always deliver and I like the fact that even though they have not broken through, they remain a favorite with their long time fans. Long live King's X.

Bruce Springsteen. Hands down the best performer I've ever seen.

He's not even my favorite singer, but his concerts are awesome.

My favorite was a couple years ago. Although it was my 6th time seeing Bruce Springsteen we got the best seats. We were in our usual 2nd tier in the back seats. A guy comes up to us and asks if we were big fans. I said look at me don't I look like I've been a fan forever? He says I can get you better seats. Of course I ask where and how much? Nothing he says and hands us front row tickets!!

I have several great concerts to list...and here they are:

Def Leppard - Adrenalized tour that was "In the Round." I was on 2nd row and thought I had died and gone to heaven.

Creed - Weathered tour (1st leg). I LOVE every song by Creed and they sound exactly the same live as they do in the studio. I'm very sad that they've split up.

The Eagles - two years ago with all of the members. The concert was LONG, but well worth me only getting 3 hours sleep before I had to get up and go to work.

Prince - back in the 80's. He's an awesome performer.

I know I'm the oddball, but my favorite concert was The Irish Tenors at Radio City Music Hall. I never thought I would be into that type of music, but they were totally awesome! I see them any chance I can get! Boy, am I getting old or what? Kathy :wave2:

There are so many, but some of my favorites were:

Def Leppard-backstage Hi and Dry Tour
Queen- The Game Tour
Iron Maiden-Backstage Number of the Beast Tour
Rolling Stones-Steel Wheels Tour
Pretenders- Backstage

DS11 and I were there! It was amazing. It was the best Rush show I have seen. Red Barchetta was amazing, I love that song. One Little Victory, Spirit of The Radio, Earthshine, just everything was great. They looked like they were having sooo much fun. I loved seeing Neil smile when Alex was doing his rant during La Villa. Jerry Stiller was funny, especially him head banging. And the video during By-Tor was great, especially with Neil raising his eyebrow when Alex and Geddy fighting. I would love to go see them again this tour, but won't be able too. :( Ds and I went to the VT tour and this show was way better. Where did you guys sit?

Springsteen. . . Louisville, KY in the Spring of 2002. It was the 1st tour with the E-Street Band back together and he played 3 hours+. . . it was trancending. :) :)

Second best- Buffet at William and Mary college back in the early 90's. . . I don't remember much of it, so it had to have been good! :hyper:

PS- Hi Kyle! :)

Meatloaf @ DTE Music Center (Pine Knob, Detroit)

BareNaked Ladies......The Palace of Auburn Hills

Billy Joel/Elton John at Giants Stadium - the first Face-to-Face tour. Billy was NUTS, had so much energy, running around like a lunatic, having a conversation with the audience. It was awesome. Come to find out later, one reason he was so crazy that night is, since there'd been thunderstorms all day and it looked like the concert wasn't going to happen, he'd gone out to his house out East and had a few drinks. When the decision was made to go on with the concert and he was brought back to NJ, he was feeling pretty happy and loose. Kinda ruined the memory for me a bit to hear that. But still, it was the two masters and it was awesome.

Pearl Jam (played for at least 3 hours)

Foo-Fighters / Red Hot Chilli Peppers (DD's first live show)

GreenDay with Blink182 and Jimmy Eat World

Those are my top 3 favorites ever... All within the last 4 years or so

Garth Brooks....fabulous stage show!

now worst show???? Eric Clapton....fabulous musician..but no show....

Buffet at Miami Marine Stadium...You know, the one they made the video from...
pirate:

Jimmy Buffett at Nissan Pavillion in VA. One huge beach party, it was awesome.

It would have to be KISS last month. Have seen them several times, but this was by far the best!!
