Last night 1900 Park Fare or Akershus

Did I make a mistake? I have been trying to book a fun last night for our trip July 3 - 9. I have been unable to get Chef Mickeys so was trying to find something else fun for daughters 17,13, 10 & 10. I logged in tonight and was able to book Akershus at 6:35pm. Then I saw 1900 PF was available for the same night at 8pm and booked it thinking we could see the fireworks from the GF at 10pm that night.
I have never been to either character dinner. Did I make a the right choice or should I try to go back and change? Second guessing myself here.

I think you made an excellent choice! the dinner is a lot of fun! The step sisters are a riot! Have fun!

We really enjoyed dinner at 1900 PF last year followed by watching Wishes from the GF boat dock. I think your DD's will have a lot of fun there.

Well I have to give my opinion on this one so here goes...

1900 PF was by far the worst meal we had during our trip last summer. Prior to our trip I would have person after person tell me DO NOT GO HERE and DH and I still talk about how we wished we would have listened!

The food was old and not replenished. The only thing I could find on the buffet to eat was the kids cheese pizza. Compared to our meal at Akershus, well, it just couldn't compare. The characters were just OK here. I found drizella to have a total attitude (not just in character) as well as the step mother (who was probably 20 years old and didn't look very step mother ish). My 7 year old was disgusted with Prince charming as he didn't look anything like the character. Our ressie was for 8pm and ppl have said that that could have been the reason why our dinner was so lousy...IDK but for what it cost (and so what if we were on the DDP) the service and food stunk. And there was hardly any character interaction while we were there that I read and heard so much about. BLAH...We will not be back there.

Akershush comes with a photo package and a variety of princesses as well. We are def. going back in feb. the food there was fresh and everything else was great.

Just my opinion based upon our stinky experience!!
