Both are still sleeping, so I'll post really quickly. They are on Spring Break from college and had no plans, so I decided at the last minute to bring them down from PA. I'm so glad I did, what a great trip!
Saratoga Springs is beautiful! I got a great deal on last minute points for a 1 bedroom. Bus service is a bit spotty, though, we sometimes got two for 1 park right in a row and the one we were waiting for would be the 7th bus, but a couple times it was the first, so it all evens out.
Parks were medium crowded and FP+ actually worked out fine for us- except for waiting in line at kiosks at the parks. They will need to put more people with iPads and put up some shade for the lines when crowds are heavier.
Highlights- during dinner in Germany, they had a special farewell to the leaving college students which was really sweet and made me cry a little. Our waitress said they have reunions at Oktoberfest in Munich, though.
Pina coladas in the Tune In lounge in DHS were heavenly, and the bakery in France was great.
Hugging my son during the fireworks at the end of the night in Epcot was the best part, like always.
FYI: there was a lot of mosquito treatment going on, but we all were bitten a few times.
