so our last morning I am trying to think of how to spend our last day before heading back to the airport.

Our flight is at 6pm so I am assuming we need to be on the ME around 3?
We are staying at POFQ and I have a few options:

1. Head over to Disney Springs and spend the day shopping and eating. We are also spending arrival day at DS.

2. Make a breakfast ADR at either Trails End, Cape May or some other place available and use Uber to get there and back to POFQ and just hang by the pool until time to leave.

3.Add one more park day ticket to my package after arriving and hitting one more park and if so which one?

My family always did MK that last morning (usually leaving around noon or 1). We would hit a few favorite attractions and then head over to Casey's for hot dogs. We would sit out and listen to the ragtime pianist if he was playing. At some point my dad would go get ice cream and bring it back to us while we sat there. Then we would do that long, slow walk down Main St where you feel reality slowly closing in again. One last look back at the Castle to try to burn the image into your mind. Then one last ride on the monorail. Then to the airport.

We left around 3pm last year - we were staying at BC so we walked over to Epcot for morning EMH and rode a couple of rides and ate at WS. Then went back to the pool for a few hours before leaving.

Our last trip a couple of weeks ago, we stayed until around noon. We went to HS for our favorite rides, ate lunch and left from there. I think there are too many things at MK and AK it would be hard to go for just 2 - 3 hours.

We did DS last year, and will be doing that again this year. We like it better than hitting a park on the last day, since we always felt like we were rushing when he did the latter.

We have done all three of those. The year we went to Disney Springs I felt rushed. Our favorite was a later breakfast at a resort after packing up the room. Then we wondered the monorail resorts before going back to POR and getting on the bus.

With that much time, I'd definitely add another park day. If you already have a multi-day package, adding one more day is only about $10 per person. Drop all your luggage, even carry-ons, with bell services and head over to MK for a few hours, have lunch, and then grab the bus back to POFQ. Great way to end the trip!

We used to do DS on the last day, but then found shopping and trying to pack those last minute purchases into already-packed luggage ended up being a pain! Besides nothing beats a walk down Main Street as a last memory!

We like option 2 and we plan a late night for our last night - something special. Then we sleep in, have a brunch (late breakfast ADR) at Chef Mickey's, 'Ohana, or Cape May, shop a bit in the resort gift shop and hang out by the pool. This works if it is really hot (late spring, summer, early fall)
When we travel to WDW and the weather is a bit cooler (think Dec - early March) we will go to Epcot - not for Rope Drop though. We relax, pack up the room, bring our stuff to bell services, check out and head to the park. We use FPP and we are sure to enjoy all of the fun Future World after ride activities - think of the game room at Mission Space or Spaceship Earth. All those things I probably rushed the kids through when we had to get to the next attraction - just soak in the last bits of magic! Then we have a nice lunch in WS, poke around a bit and head back to the resort. My kids have always had more traumatic experiences about leaving when we do this though! I think it is too harsh and they can't believe it is over. They know it is over if we do things like brunch and hang out.

One more park day is the way to go! I mean 10 bucks a piece to get three fast passes in MK! What a deal! What a perfectly grand way to end your trip! Be sure to leave by 1:00 for the resort bus, because you could have to wait a while and you don't want to be rushed or stressed out while you get your carry ons from bell services, get a bathroom break etc. Your ME will be around 3:00. You should be at the ME bus pick up at POFQ by 15 minutes before your designated pick up time.

We're staying at POFQ as well, and flying out the same time as you. About three-fourths of the way through our trip we'll decide if we want to add another park day or just do DS.

As tempting as another park day is, I find a leisurely stroll through DS to be a great way to end a trip. And it's so much easier to pull yourself away from DS than it is to leave a park. I'm thinking we might visit the shop that lets you design a t-shirt so our kids can pick a theme that they feel fits our whole trip. Then maybe a stop at Goofy's candy shop to grab some snacks for the plane.

We will be hitting HS on our last day to re-ride our favorites (RnR, TOT and TSM) a couple times utilizing rope drop and FP+.

I totally get pp's point about relaxing that last day, but my family wouldn't have it!

thanks for all the feedback. I am leaning towards the boat to DS and some last minute strolling/shopping.....mabye breakfast at the hotel and lunch at DS. thanks again.

We usually do some form of breakfast ADR on our last morning! Sleep in a little bit, and head on over, explore the resort it's at, and hang out, get breakfast, maybe do a swim (if you dont mind traveling with wet suits) and then kinda just get ready to go.

Which park are you NOT doing on your previous days? The AK and DHS are parks where you can see some not all things in a 5 hour visit or so. Also a water park. I think epcot and the Mk are parks where another half day might be good too as you may have missed some things on your first day.
What you are doing on the previous days would determine what the last day should be though.

I would probably do a good TS breakfast and the resort hop. Visit some that you have never seen before!

None, we are doing all of them during our trip....2 days epcot, 3 MK, one each AK and HS...

After my grandson stopped drooling over goofys candy company photos DS won the coin toss....

With your same time frame, we once did all 4 parks in that amount of time. It was so much fun. We mapped out what we wanted to hit ahead of time and went for it! We got everything on our last done AND had time for lunch. It was so much fun. :)

We always hit MK for our last morning. We always drive so we do not have to worry about departure time, so we head over to MK and hit some of our favorites and then head out usually around noon or so. Then swing by DS for any last minute shopping and then hit the road. Sadly, this time we have to check out that last morning and get on the road without going to a park, but the brightside is we are heading to the Disney Dream that morning and not home, so I guess that is like going to a park on the last morning.

Our flight is 4:25 so our ME will be around 1:30. I have planned on Epcot for that morning, but I'm also a little worried about somehow being delayed getting back to the resort for ME. I guess if we leave Epcot at 12 that should allow plenty of time. We'll visit the RAC before going to the park and I guess leave any carryons with the front desk! We've never had time to go to a park on departure day, but now we have nonstop to/from Omaha, so it won't take quite as much of the day to get home.
