Last minute trips with a big family!

Call me crazy, but on Thursday night, I booked a last minute trip for my family of six and both my mom and my husband's mother. It's a Mother's Day gift for them, and an extra long weekend for my kids in school so they'll only miss 3 days, so I though, "Why not, eh?"

I'm not totally green to Disney, I'm a former CM (1991-92) so I know the ins and outs of the parks, and my last visit was 6 years ago, before any of my other kids were born.

I guess I have a few questions? I have tickets left from 2002, but can't remember what's left on them. Can I only find this out at at the Park Entrances?

My passes are 5 day Park Hopper plus options 4- What are the "options"? I know we can hit Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, but what else is included?

We're going to buy a playpen and highchair for my youngest while were there (cheaper and easier than bringing our own or renting) is there a place that you know of that I can easily donate these to when I'm finished with them?

If you have any other last minute tips for me, I'd greatly appreciate them!

I don't know how old your kids are but could you buy one of those foldable travel high chairs? They can go in the dishwasher, or one of those that hook on to a table? Also don't the hotel rooms offer a crib/play pen?

I'm not much help with anything else but have a fantastic time!

i would call ahead to the resort some have cribs, high chairs etc there already to use. Sometimes for a small fee. i have used them and they were used but in good condition. if you want to buy one I would like to suggest a unwed mothers home or pregnancy center. the girls could really use them and thats what i did with my stuff after baby #5
As for the tickets you usualy have to wait to find out at the gate if you have days left.

as for the tickets this is what I found.. Premium Option
This option combines both the Hopper and Water Park Fun Options.

You will have the ability to jump from park to park each of your ticket and it includes water park admissions.

We're renting a house in Kissimmee, unfortunately there isn't any baby equipment in the house. I checked Walmart's website and they have a playpen and highchair for $29.99 each so it won't break the bank. It would cost us more for the extra baggage.

My kids are 11, 5, 3 and 1, and are so looking forward to this!!

Depending on how long you stay it might be cheaper to go with Walmart though. just giving you another option

If you do buy it from Walmart, maybe you could see if anyone would like to buy it from you, on say your last day. You get recoup some of it anyway.
