Last Minute Trip Questions, please??

I am sitting here the day after Thanksgiving daydreaming about a last minute trip and thought I might ask some of you experts a couple of questions.

I can only get the dining plan if I book a package and pay rack rate, even if I have an AP?

If so then the dining plan would actually cost us $85 a day since we would have to pay $15 more for the room than the email code I have been lucky enough to get?

How busy do you think the parks will be December 10-21st?

I cannot think of anything else that I want or need for Christmas but I both want and NEED a Disney vacation.

Thank you for any input and thoughts. Now, I wonder if the weather would stay nice enough to get me over the mountains and back.

At this point, I believe room availability is a bit tight - do some searches on DisneyWorld.com - you may be lucky to find a room, let alone a room with a discount.

I already checked for availability and it is there, for the nites and the resort I want otherwise there would not be so much of a problem.

Then you need to decide if the Dining Plan is worth it to you, as there currently are no discounts for December, except for your pin code....if you have AAA, you could book thru them and get a slight discount on a package with dining.
