We haven't made any ADRs because our trip was so last minute and we don't even know which days we'll be at the parks. Do we have a chance of eating anything other than counter service meals for lunch during a regular (not peak) season?

Are there any restaurants that don't fill up, but that are still very good? Is there a time of day that's better to try to walk up? I don't mind eating lunch a bit early or late, we can snack to hold us over or have a light breakfast for an early lunch. Advice for any park is appreciated since we'll probably go to all of them. Thanks!

Sure..you may have to wait awhile, but there's always a chance.

You can also stop at Guest Services when you first get to the park to find out what is available and make a reservation at that time.

If you can check on line make a few ahead of time. We have gotten ADR same day-call the number on your phone in the resort room, and see whats available, or check at the guest service at each park. Good Luck!!

You can definitely walk-up and depending on the season have little to no wait. I've been seated within 15-30 minutes at Rose & Crown, Le Cellier, Cinderella's Royal Table (I'm serious-it was amazing!), and ESPN Club just to name a few. CRT was in January, so I'm sure that was a HUGE factor.

But it can be done. When you walk up, ask how long the wait is, NOT if there are any ADRs. You'll most likely get rejected if you ask the question that way, but may be pleasantly surprised by asking for the wait time.

Good luck!

I am not sure if you know this but the ESPN Club doesn't take ADR's. Over there it's first come, first serve.

We were in Daytona last Thanksgiving and drove to Disney on Black Friday to visit the resorts and shop in Downtown Disney. Although I know that is not the same as the parks, but it was a very busy day to say the least. We made this decision just over a week before we went. I was able to go on line and make reservations for several resturants without any problems and was even given time options. If you can figure out a few places you would like to dine and can check on line before you leave that might work out well.

Good Luck! :goodvibes
