Last minute trip Feb 18th & Feb 19th.

I know...I know...one of those dumb questions that people ask!

If by chance that we decide to make it down to Orlando to check out the DVC resorts and take the tour, what are the chances of a studio room being available through DVC (if we rent points from someone) for the nights of Saturday, Feb 18th and Sunday, Feb 19th? It doesn't have to be at the same resort for both nights if that helps.

Any possibility? Any words of wisdom?

Anyone with any inside info on DVC availability for Presidents Day Weekend?

I tried to get a studio for that time to add on to a trip and was told they had nothing on property. I didn't try again and that was almost a month ago, so if you call you might get lucky-someone might have cancelled! Good Luck!

If we decide to book the flight today, we will most likely stay at the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort, which is right across from Down Town Disney. I'd love to stay at a DVC resort, but all of WDW looks to be booked. I never dreamed that a little three day weekend could book up a huge resort like WDW - BOY WAS I WRONG!

That's President's Day weekend - many schools across the country have at least that Monday off and some have that entire week off. Lots of people travel to WDW during that week. Any rooms that weren't reserved by mid December of last year were probably sent over to CRO/WDWTC and snapped up by the general public.

If your trip were the following weekend, you'd probably not have a problem.
