last minute trip booked

my DD is getting married in 2 weeks

at first they were planning on going to Disney then since they both started new jobs they thought they would go to the WI Dells well a few weeks ago it was back to Disney---

so she called Wed and booked everything and got good rates on air and hotel

so they're leaving on Aug 8 early and coming back on sat the 12 late
not a long trip but at least they'll be at Disney

they got Midwest out of Milwaukee for non stop 730am flight total $525

CBR for 4 nites standard room with AAA total with taxes of 825
does this sound reasonable
I didnt think that was to bad considering its only 2 and a half weeks!!!



now I need to give them my shopping list and have them pick me up a few things

For the time you said they'd be there (August 8-12), I found it cheaper on disneyworld.com. For 4 nights at CBR 8/8-8/12, the total quoted on the website was $691.36 for two adults. Even a preferred room was cheaper than what she was quoted from AAA...disneyworld.com has a preferred room listed at $780.56.

I've never flown out of Milwaukee or flown Midwest, but the closer you get to the day of flight, the higher prices tend to go, so that seems pretty reasonable to me for airfare.

Yes that sounds MUCH better...I was sitting here going "wow! AAA is charging MORE!" Good thing it worked out!

Congratulations. I sure hope she got a discount. Does she post on the weddings/honeymoons forum? Read this thread I posted a few days ago about booking last minute weddings July 6-Sept ???. I saw a pop-up when I was at the Disney site.
