Hello! I went to WDW this past August and I thought it would be fun to surprise DD13 with a quick trip to WDW to see the holiday decorations. I've been searching and can't find a thread on the favorite offsite properties. May only be there for 2 or 3 nights. I can possibly get a free night at the Dolphin but it's not available until Jan 1. Airfare is higher because we're late booking so am trying to still stay at a nice place but for less money. We will have a car. Thanks!

That's the most costly, most crowded time to visit of the year.

Now that you've been warned, there are plenty of hotels. The Disney Springs area hotels, the Four Seasons, the Waldorf and the Wyndham Grande are all the closest and are nice properties.

If you want some room and probably save some money, you could rent a timeshare. I see a few Wyndham Bonnet Creek units available for around those dates on Ebay.

Good luck
