Hello all....I am pretty sure I will be going on a last minute trip for 2-3 days to US/IOA around Aug. 24-27. We will be at the parks 2..maybe 3 days starting on Monday. Looks like the parks will be opening at 9am those days. We will be staying on site so will have early entry and express.

I have been several times and generally went for early entry straight to Wizarding World and did FJ etc.....but I have not been since DA has opened.

Just wondered if anyone had some good advice about what to do/see first. I am assuming we should go straight to DA and do what we can there before the throngs of people come in and then go about our day...wondering if we should plan on the hour early entry to DA one day and IOA the other day.

Any advice would be appreciated....I know DA just opened and probably several haven't been either but I appreciate any input.

We did early entry at Hogsmeade our first day and it was great. No one was really there, so we rode everything twice with no waits. Just remember to get there very early for the morning you do DA so you can be first in line for Gringotts!

i won't be their until the fall but from what i have read, do gringotts first.

If you can resist try to do DA on the Tuesday of your trip....there will be a lot of people arriving at the weekend who will head straight there on the Monday so you may find the Tuesday a little quieter. I'd still head there first thing though!

Thanks everyone! It is as I assumed.

Now...does anyone know the best way to get there? I mean, when we visited WW for the first time, I read and I think even saw a map someone had done showing the best walking path to get there...like not going through Suess Landing.

Just wondered if there was a map of this that would help. I am a bit ashamed to say that I am not sure where it is all located...I know where...but maybe not where the entrance is etc....where to line up, that kind of thing.

I wasn't planning on going until next spring. My high school aged daughter and I try to do a trip during her fall and spring breaks but this fall decided on Disneyland and the fun CA stuff!

Thanks again!!

Thanks...I guess it is pretty straightforward how to get there...and following the masses always works. I just remembered that a lot of people walked around a long way to get to WW.
