Last minute trip advice

I am considering a surprise last minute trip with my 4 year old the first week of December. Will we be able to take advantage of FP/fp+/magic bands or is too late for that ? Anyone done a spontaneous trip like this? I planned our last trip for months, so this seems a bit crazy. Just wanting some opinions and advice to make it great.

I am almost certain the answer is yes, with the only caveat being you will likely not be able to get customized magic bands, and stuck with the gray ones with no name- but there are some fun "bling" accessories you can buy to jazz them up, if that is your thing.

Yes, this poster is correct. As long as you link tickets to your MDE ahead of time, you should be able to start booking FP+ right away. You will be given your MBs when you check-in. We will be there that week as well and can't wait!
