Last Minute Travel for tickets?

Just back from our trip and everything worked out with the character dining vouchers, although not without some frustrations. First Disney had no record of the transaction, so I called and finally convinced them to fax it to guest services (they tried insisting that wasn't possible that it was all electronic, then they found the fax field on the reservation) They supposedly faxed both reservations, but only one was sent. Tried again to have the second sent, was told it was sent, but it did not arrive. Finally the lead at guest services called Last Minute Travel and got everything straightened out. So in all it took 3 trips to guest services, each for approx 15 minutes, but everything came through in the end.

My advice make sure to call and have the info faxed to guest services(sorry I don't have the number), have them send, and RESEND the vouchers to you to bring with you and keep the phone number handy!

UGH, that would be very frustrating. Now I am worried about how it will turn out with my Park Hoppers. Good thing we are planning to go for our first day in the afternoon and not right away in the morning so if there is any problems it won't hold us up from getting in the parks first thing in the am.

I did just call LMT and asked about problems with the vouchers and making sure that Disney does in fact have our reservations. She made it seem like there would never be a problem unless we booked the tickets on the day of going. Would you suggest having the info faxed to guest services closer to our arrival or right away? Is there a way to find out from Disney if the ticket info was really faxed to them ahead of time?

Maybe the problem is just with character vouchers? I opted not to get the vouchers since I wanted flexibility and didnt seem like a big savings.
 

Just want to clarify that this GAT price is for promo tickets that must have their first use by 4/30/10 and expire 13 days later. If you enter a first use date for May 2010, the price is higher. They don't really state that in the terms.

Several of us have been trying to find out if the same is true of the great price on LMT, but the live chat reps do not know the answer to this question of when these tickets are actually good through.

I purchased 5-day park hopper tickets through LMT. The ticket I was given at the ticket booth after presenting them with my voucher states: "VALID THROUGH 01/16/2011". Not sure how they came up with that date, but it says nothing on it about not being able to use in May. I will try and see if I can scan the ticket.
 
OK..don't think I'll try this for the character dining......

I am so glad to hear that everything worked well at the ticket booth. I was worried that I would have an issue and now I feel much better!

Hi... We're thinking of getting our park hoppers from here as well.. I'm so glad you all made a thread about it. I'm also glad that one person has already picked their tickets up with no problem :)
Anyone else pick up their tickets yet? Or any other experiences? The prices are so great.. it is kind of hard to believe.. Even better than Ares or the Disney website promos right now!

Yes, the question/reply was directed at you. I just wanted to make sure you found the correct prices. My family and I are going early April and these are the BEST prices I've found. I'm thinking of getting them today because I'm scared the prices will adjust and we'll lose out. i saw on bottom that we can get a refund so I wasn't too worried.. just a little .. hahhaa so I wanted to see if anyone else got their tickets and how the outcome was.

I'll go with them if they're the best price and as of now they are ~ I just don't have the $$ at the moment.
 
I have had my tickets purchased for a while now from LMT. I just recently purchased one dining voucher (for a family of 5).
We leave Saturday and will be back the following Saturday, so I will post our experience when I get back.;)

I don't know where you saw that, but they do not give refunds. My voucher says no refunds and I called to make sure and was told that they don't do them.
 
I just purchased tickets from Last Minute Travel, but won't use them until July. I too was afraid of the price going up! I called them directly and they said no problem with expiration in July.

BUT I wanted to point out that if you look at the front page of the ticket prices, it says one price, but if you click on More Info, the price grid changes, to be more expensive! So I went back and added to cart from the first page (you have an option of adding to cart from either that first page or the more info page). I checked out and it kept the price the same. So far so good! I just wanted to be sure to share that little experience so you get the better pricing!

Hello.

When I looked for my tickets, I saw that the first page that pops out gives a better, less expensive price so I know to make sure to add that into the basket. But if you click on "More Details", there's a brief summary of what's included and policies. On the bottom of policies, it states that you can get a refund prior to ticket pickup. I'll call them today and ask about that then since you said you called and they said no refunds?
