I was about to buy 4-day tickets from Ares, since it is so highly recommended here on the Dis, then I found LMT. It seemed to be about 25 dollars cheaper on the LMT website with the same type of delivery.

So, do you guys think LMT is just as reputable? Anyone have experience with them?

I know $25.00 is not that much in the grand scheme of going to Disneyland, but it would help with extra spending money for the kiddos.;)

Have you checked getawaytoday.com? Their 4-day ticket is $157 and there's no shipping charge because you'll pick up the ticket at DL.

I couldn't find the shipping charges easily at LastMinuteTravel to compare.

And the kids 4 day is 132! lowest I've seen. If I book my tix through LMT, I'll save $68!

How did you find the ticket or vouchers on LMT? I looked under Activities, but can't seem to pull up DL. Only WDW.

I clicked Activities along the top. Then on the left side, I checked the radio button next to anaheim, further down on the left side, I clicked Theme Parks, and then Search Now

I just did a live chat and the agent said that you get an email confirmation. You show that and a photo ID at the ticket booth to get your ticket.

Yes, we are now upgrading to a 5-day. I also spoke with a live agent last night to clarify the final cost and picking up tickets.

This is huge for us since now the savings is quite a bit more with the 5 day ticket. ( I am buying 5 tickets.)
I think we will also feel more relaxed knowing we have that extra day. We won't feel like we have to be there all day long!

Can't wait until March!

They were reviewed by Forbes as one of the "Best of the Web" for deals. Here's the article. http://www.forbes.com/bow/b2c/review.jhtml?id=6367 I ordered character dining vouchers from them, for our trip in a couple weeks. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Amy,

Please let me know how this goes. It looks like the total for my family would be 154.00. (That is 4 adults and 1 child) It says the gratuity is included.
I'd love to hear all of the details about how you booked. Also, did you choose the regular dining or premium?

Thanks!

I just did a live chat as well :

"You are now chatting with 'Maria'

Maria: Hi how may I help you?

randye: Do you know if the Disneyland parkhopper tickets are sent as vouchers or the actual tickets? Also, is there a processing fee and an expiration date for these tickets?

Maria: Will be a voucher the you need to exchange at the park for the actual ticket.

Maria: The ticket don't have a expirations day of use but they will expire 14 day after use.

randye: ok thanks.

Nothing about a confirmation email and they actually expire 13 days after 1st use.
I don't know.....

Thanks for the tip about this website, Ill probably get tickets and character breakfast from them. I was just looking and they have a one-way transfer from SNA to DLR area hotels for $45.45, this seems about what a taxi would run, except I guess they would meet you inside, seems like it would be worth it to dish the shuttle. I have never been on a limo.

All DL parkhopper tickets expire 13 days after you first use them.

This was a portion of my live chat:

Me: I was considering buying tickets to Disneyland. Are the tickets shipped? If so, how long does it take for me to get them. How much is shipping? Thanks.
Matias: no ma'am, everything is done electronically
Matias: you will receive emailed confirmation...this is what you present to the ticket booth
Matias: along with your photo ID

I bought tickets today.
I received an email confirmation from LMT and then another email from tourico holidays.
The email from tourico holidays had a PDF file attached that is the printout that you turn in at the gate.
I had to call the customer service number for tourico holidays because I was having issues with my printer. They answered the phone right away and gave great customer service to my questions.
The representative I spoke with said they are a parent company to LMT.
BTW, tourico holidays is in Florida.

So far, so good. Everything looks legitimate, using the same process as other online ticket agents.:thumbsup2

I booked both the regular and premium character dining. I'll be picking up the vouchers in two weeks. I'll let everyone know if there was any problem. I used GAT in the past and had issues with my reservation (it was never sent to Disney by GAT) and it took a couple phone calls to figure it out, so it can't be worse than that.

You are making me nervous about the character dining vouchers, I take it these have to be picked up at Disneyland too. Do you at least get some type of confirmation number that you can print out and give to them.

Just want to clarify that this GAT price is for promo tickets that must have their first use by 4/30/10 and expire 13 days later. If you enter a first use date for May 2010, the price is higher. They don't really state that in the terms.

Several of us have been trying to find out if the same is true of the great price on LMT, but the live chat reps do not know the answer to this question of when these tickets are actually good through.

OT but what are the prices for Character Dining? I would sure love people who have used to them to report after their trip:)

Yes they have to be picked up at the ticket booth, exactly the same as GAT handles things. I have a printed voucher, an 800-number to call with problems and paid with Visa with money back quarantee if there is a problem.

Prices were: adult $27.87 child $14.38 regular character dining
and adult $34.16 child $17.98 Premium dining (Goofy's and Ariels)

GAT prices are : adult $31 child $16 regular character dining
and adult $38 child $20 Premium dining (Goofy's and Ariels)
