Last-minute Swan questions

As the seconds tick down...see clock, below...I'm surprised that I don't know everything I need to know. I mean, 4,000 hours of reading the DIS--that should be enough, don't you think?

And yet, I still have questions. Maybe someone can answer them. I thank all of you in advance. Also, I thank everyone for all the fabulous postings and info in general here in DISville.

Here goes:

(1) What's the standard tip for the person who takes one's bags when checking into the Swan? Will this happen twice--once when getting out of the cab and once when going from check-in to room? As you can tell, I'm not used to the Deluxe Life.

(2) Are the housekeepers at the Swan tipped in the same manner as mousekeeping at the WDW-owned resorts or is there some other method or whatever I should know about?

(3) Can I purchase tix for MVMCP at the Swan? Or do these have to be purchased at the MK? I didn't buy them ahead of time...as you can tell!

We tipped the mousekeeper, maybe $5.00, but she had the 2 beds plus the rollaway to make up. She gave us lots of extra oatmeal soap and pink shampoo. Also might add our room was next to the elevator and it was not made up until 4 pm. one day. Not good if you are planning an afternoon break/rest time.

Sorry I don't know about the other 2. Dh and one ds took the luggage over in a cab from the Poly. I know we tip also depending on the amount of luggage we have, like $1 per bag.

For normal bell service/bell hop without any "extras" I have always tipped aprox 1.00 per bag(more for heavy bags). I hope this helps! You're going to love your trip! Enjoy!
