Last minute suprise trip!

At the last minute we were able to book a trip this Sept. I got the free dining on the last day it was possible!! I am so excited!!

We decided to keep it a surprise for our DS7. We will be picking him up from school and driving. Any suggestions on how to tell him, once we are on our way? I thought I could give him little presents along the way that would clue him in. I just hope I can keep it a secret that long!

Don't tell him. Make it a guessing game as you drive. I'm sure after a few clues he will guess. Just enjoy the look on his face when he figues it out- it's priceless.

I'd do a word game or a secret code, depending on his interests. I would give it away immediately with presents...i'm just way to practical! He'd get pins and an autograph book, and a penny book...you get the picture!

With a multilevel code, you might be able to keep him guessing for a bit at least! 7 year olds are pretty clever, however!

My six-year-old loves maps. Since you are driving it might be fun to create a map showing the route and final destination - maybe with a big Mickey to represent WDW.
