Last minute rooms

Can anyone tell me the best way to get a good deal on a very short notice? My husband works for a place that travels a lot and he never knows from one day to the next if he might have to leave or how long he will be gone. We could possible book 3 days ahead but what are my chances at getting a good room and a good rate at this late in the game? We can't decide whether to stay on Disney property or off. It will have to be a good deal if it is on. We are hoping they will let him have his vacation the last week of Sept~first of October if that helps.

I would check hotelkingdom.com for last minute rates. But before I look into I would check best and worst hotel list to see what some of the good hotels are.

Also you check the hotels discounts page on this site and shows some discounts for hotels between Us and Disney. Also ifyou check Downtown Disney hotels which like somewhat of a half point for some people.

That way you can make a wise decsion. That would be the easy way.

The other is you can check mousesavers.com to see if Disney have put out in codes for discounts. Disney have three types of hotels value, moderate, deluxe. It depends on what like in a hotel. Different people like different amenites in there hotels. Also if stay offsite to be sure to rent a car.
