last minute ressies

What do you think my chances are of getting ressies for a 10 day stay @ Boardwalk or OKW Aug12 - 22, or Aug19 - 29. I know I had 11 month window for my home resort (BW) but my wife just got the iche and I would like to scratch it !!!

probably pretty good - try and see - if not OKW or BWV try BCV - alot of people don't know that it is taking reservations. but I think you should not have a problem with OKW - most of the kids are back in school and it is very, very hot in August

We just added 4 extra days in a 1 BDR at OKW this past week towards the end of July.No problem.They had 2BDR as well. We had tried for the BCV but only 2 of the days were open for a 1BDR

Last week I called to book Labor Day Week at BWV, but it was full. To my suprise, I had no problem at all getting into BCV. I love Boardwalk, but I'm really looking forward to checking out the brand new villas just over two months after they've been open.

I agree - it's like people don't realize the new resort is actually opening.

Now, if I can just get in Thanksgiving Week.

Last year we snagged an OKW studio for the last week of August, on three weeks' notice. Good luck!

Thanks all,
Got a response back confirming my ressies for end of August. So far I've never had a problem making ressie's. I must either go during slow times or I am very lucky!! I think it is the later although I've had no problems during the easter or xmas holidays!!!
I love my DVC!!!

Good for you. Last year we stayed at BWV the last week of August. The parks were pretty much empty. We too made the reservation at about this time of year without a problem.
