Last minute Ressies - still hope

Just an update. since you guys have all been so helpful to me while i have been waiting to get into the system from my first Resale purchase - i thought i would pay it forward to some other new members.

i was able to make my first reservations today and i was pleasantly surprised. i made 3 ressies, including 1 for 2 weeks from now.

June 1 / 2 i was able to get a Studio at OKW. they also had a Studio at SSR.

Oct 10-15 i was able to get my home resort VWL 1 Bedroom. they also had OKW studio and some split night studios at AKL Kidani. It did seem the first week of October had very little availability as studio or 1 bedroom, anywhere.

Hopefully this gives someone the little bit of hope they are looking for with their upcoming plans. I know i was really worried with the late notice for June and the F&W Fest in Oct.

Maybe this will give you some more hope for the future... We have owned now for 5 years, and only stayed 1 night in our home resort. We have gone all different times, including spring break, booked anywhere from 1 month to 7 months in advance and have only had one time when we couldn't get the resort we wanted. The only time the 7-month window has bitten us is our upcoming trip during holidays, which is always slammed. We got a 1BR at BWV so still not bad.

You sound you are willing to be flexible, so I think you will find you are going to LOVE DVC!!
