Last minute reservation success !

Just wanted to share how thrilled I am to be a DVC owner ! I was able to book a 1BR preferred at BWV this morning for Jan 27 - Feb 1. This cold weather we are having here in the Northeast got the best of us this weekend !

This is actually the second time we were able to get a last minute reservation ... if anyone is thinking about a last minute getaway, give it a try !

Let me add to what DVCindy said about last minute reservations can come through. My DD's college dance team is competing at the Nationals at WDW this weekend and my DW is thinking about flying down to watch. I just called DVC to see if there was a studio or one bdrm available at OKW for this Thur-Sun. I was told very limited availability but one of each was available. I didn't ask about availability at the other DVC resorts. Now DW has to decide if she will go or not before the availability is gone. Now air fare is another story. It sounds like all the competing teams are staying at the All Stars and, if like DD's team, will be hitting the parks on Friday.

PamOKW - When I called I asked for any 1BR at any resort and the CM told me this was the only one available for my dates. I was really surprised ... I was expecting to get OKW if there was any availabity at all (which was just fine with me). BW is my 2 dd's favorite resort so they are very excited ! Just read another post where someone else was also successful getting BWV for the last week of January, too.

OKWKirt - I hope you are able to get a room if DW decides to head down with your DD. Pixie dust seems to be in the air right now for these last minute reservations ... I hope you get some !

SHHHH, DVCindy! Be very careful what you say! There are some here who think OKW is always available but BWV is never available last minute. Have a GREAT trip! I can tell how excited you are! Someone must have canceled a BW view last minute for you to get so lucky!

The closest we have come to a last minute was 1 night at VB just to check the place out which we booked 6 days before - we then added on at VB
