Hi all.

So we leave for DLP on Wednesday for our last AP trip :-) I have a couple of questions!

1) Looking at the queue times, it seems we'd be best trying for Ratatouille first thing in the morning. We've never done the Crush run at WDS opening - what time do you think we should get there?

2) Where's the best place to find Pluto these days? Is he still a regular in WDS? He's DD1's favourite and she won't be happy until we find him ha ha!

3) Princess Pavilion - is there anything stopping us queuing twice for the same ticket issue?

Thanks!

1) FP would also be an option for you if you plan on being in the studios a few hours that you could be fairly relaxed with your plans. And if you get to the studio gate for 9.30am you should have plenty of time to fast walk with the other guests ;)
2) the hotels at breakfast time might be a good bet or Cafe Mickey is a fairly good certainty if you'd planned on a meal there or could fit it in.
3) I cannot help with this one sorry. Have a great trip!

For question three, you can queue as many times as you want to get a ticket. You need a valid park ticket for each person who wants to go with you, and you'll be issued a ticket with a time, and number of people stamp.
Just enter the queue again and repeat the process :-)

We just returned from a week at DLP yesterday and managed to ride both Ratatouille and Crush several times with little wait. In order to do this we got to the Studios at 9am to be at the front of the line for entry. If people are already there remember that all the turnstyles open for entry, even the ones marked exit. When we arrived one day many people were already lined up at the gates on the right hand side, we lined up at one of the exit gates on the left and managed to get into the park ahead of several people who had arrived before us but had joined one of the already existing lines.

Some days we rode Ratatouille twice first thing. To do this I took our park passess and got fast passess at the cart at the exit of Studio 1 (behind and to the right of the Partners statue, it has a Ratatouille sign on it), then followed other people to the ride. We managed to get 2 rides before 10:45 doing this (the line was 90 minutes stand by at this time!)

Other days we rode Crush and Ratatouille by the same time. To do this, I took the park passess and got Ratatouille fast passess whilst DH hurried to the Crush line. I then joined him there. Being the front of the line getting into the park made a real difference as you were able to get the fastpassess quickly and still join a queue line before most others had even entred the park.

Hope this helps.

This is useful, thank you! We've got Parachute Drop to negotiate too, so I was wondering if you happened to notice the queue times for Crush and Ratatouille later on in the day, say an hour or two before closing?

If you get FP's for Ratatouille first thing and then go to Crush you should have time to fit the Parachute drop inbetween these rides. We rode Crush, then RC racer before our 10:30 - 11:00 Ratatouille fastpass. Lines for Crush and Ratatouille were still long later in the day, as in over an hour for each ride. Mid afternoon Ratatouille was over 2 hours wait and Crush was about 80 minutes.

Ah ok - we found that the Parachute drop quickly increased to 45 minutes within a short amount of time, and this was off season. So we've often done the early queuing there. Maybe the queues for Crush (as Ratatouille fast passes will work fine!) will get quieter later in the day mid week mid October?! lol Finger crossed!

Great, thank you. We might have a cheeky tour of the hotels one morning ;)

Thanks, good to know :thumbsup2

This is very useful - thank you so much.

Did the gates open at 10 or earlier? If earlier, were the FP machines open then too?

The gates open at 9:30 and last week the rides began around 9:45am. We had ridden either Crush or Ratatouille and were in line for another ride before 10am on several days. The fast pass machines do not work until the park officially opens at 10am (with the exception of Ratatouille as those passes were handed out, not gained from the machine).

Very interesting - this is our fourth trip and we still haven't managed to do Crush yet...so will be trying this tip week after next!
