Headed to US/IOA June 5 - 9 with park days on 6, 7 & 8.

1. My initial plan was to do US on the 6th, but should we avoid that park due to the Kelli Pickler concert and do IOA that day? How will that concert affect crowds?

2. Lockers at rides. How much are they? Is it per hour (that's what I seem to remember). Cash only or do I change the $1 in for coins? Just want to be prepared when I go to the bank for cash.

3. Pools. I have friends that live in Orlando and have APs to the parks. But, can they come hang at the HRH pool with us too for the day?

4. Refillable cups. Is there more than 1 kind? I can't find mine from last time, so we'll just buy another, although usually we just do water with an occassional slushie.

5. Early entry. How will I know which park on which day? We are not HP fans at all (never read the books, never seen the movies), but would like to walk through, check it out and ride the rides. I don't really understand how EE works and really can't find any info online at all.

6. Laundry at HRH - I need cash for that too correct?

Thanks for all your help!

I'm just going to answer the ones I've done before.

There are lockers you can rent, but the lockers by the rides, if you are just using it for that ride, are free. They give you an allotted time, based on the ride's line wait. If the ride takes longer, they will open it for free. If you go do other things, and go over the time, you have to pay.

Never tried. I know you need a room card for one of the four hotels, to get towels, so I would assume they frown upon outside guests. I would say ask at the front desk.
4. Refillable cups. Is there more than 1 kind? I can't find mine from last time, so we'll just buy another, although usually we just do water with an occassional slushie.
Yes, there are 2 kinds. Coke Freestyle is about $12 for the first day (free refills) and about $7 each day after the first (still free refills). They still have the original Coke refillable cups. I think they are about $9 for the cup and first fill up (each fill up is 99 cents plus tax)

They will tell you at the front desk. I'm sure there are other ways to check, but that's what I do. :)

the concert will be in the evening.
switch to IOA before the concert starts if you want to avoid that.
you should be fine up to that point at the studios.

it has been a few years since i did any laundry at hrh.
it was coin operated last time i used it.
don't know if that has changed.

refillable cups are the same.
buy one, use it and bring it back on later trips for the refillable discount cost.
or buy a new one and use it during your stay.

there is a freestyle cup that uses a chip for free refills on the day it is valid for.
it can be reactivated for additional days for a charge per day.

you need to check with the front desk at the hotel if you will be allowed to bring outside non hotel guests to the pool.
your friends ap has nothing to do with the hotel policy.
