Does anyone have experience with planning a 'last minute' trip to DL Paris from the US? We'd want to go asap, which I'm assuming is some time mid-April or early May. It would be a short trip - 4 days, maybe 5. Don't have any plans to see the sights or the city, just Disney. It's sort of a crazy reaction to some very hard times we're having, and while the escape sounds lovely, I'm wondering if it's even possible.

Sure! Why not! Fly into Charles de Gaulle and Disneyland is a short train ride straight from the airport to Downtown Disney, then you can walk to your resort from there. The resorts are fairly close together. There are only the 2 parks so you can easily do them in a couple days or so. Have a blast!!

I would pop over to kayak or some website that would give you the best flights on the best days for the best price breakdown.....I know I had them email me every day for a year to find the best prices, so if you did it every day for a week you could get a good idea on cheapest options....

You do not need extensive advance planning for Disneyland Paris.
You will need a hotel room.
If you want Premier Access, you can get it on-site.
If you're less than 60 days out, you may not be able to book the exact dining places/times you want, but there are plenty of places to eat.

Enjoy!

Just make sure your passports are valid for 6 months or more, but otherwise throwing a last minute trip together generally isn't too difficult.

I can understand you, the parks have always been my happy place in hard times.
Be sure to read this thread:

it has a huge amount of great tips if you don't know the parks.
I'd usually say 4 days are too many, 2-3 are usually enough, but since you need to handle the jet lag, 4 seem right. If you do 5, I'd also include a day in Paris. Taking the RER train to the city center is cheap and easy and in a day you could see a few highlights.
