Last minute help please- arriving tomorrow- Genie +?

Hello! I booked a last minute trip for my daughters (19,7) and me, and I am very behind on my planning. I was trying to search for this answer and couldn't find- so hoping for some quick advice. We arrive tomorrow (flight gets in around 2:30 pm)!!

We have 4 day hoppers and this is what we have planned:
Day 1 arrival day- MK around 4. (staying at Dolphin)
Day 2 HS hop to Epcot
Day 3 MK. hop to Epcot
Day 4. HS. hop to MK. (resort switch to WL for last night bc of limited availability when I booked)
Day 5. leave

First, should we skip Genie plus on our arrival day or would it still be helpful? I would love to have rides stacked but I can't figure out how we would be able to get them late enough?

While we are likely skipping AK this time (our last trip was June 22), where , if at all, would you add it?

If you purchase G+, you can book rides for whatever time beginning at 7 (and then the 2 hour after-park-opening intervals, and monitor the return times to watch them progress later in the day so you can modify what youve booked to later times. Modifying won’t lost your opportunity to keep booking rides ever 2 hours. We’re arriving mid afternoon in April and I’m considering doing something like you’re describing also. My only real wondering is how well WiFi will be on the plane…

Make a daily calendar for early entry and Daily open / Closing times .
I see AK opens daily at 7:30 a.m. for Early Entry and I think Swan /. Dolphin are eligible. I think MK has early entry for 7:30 a.m. on Monday too .
I worry about your transportation to theme parks since the busses are not Disney and I am not familiar with schedules. , etc…
MK has the latest closing times during your trip . That is helpful .
Do you have your Park Reservations confirmed ?
Do you plan to try for 7:00 a.m. VQ Boarding for Cosmic Rewind at Epcot?
Is your reservation at Swan/Dolphin linked on My Disney Experience ?
I don’t think I would pay for Genie on your first arrival day… Never know about travel plans & delays… rain on Monday?

I would be worrried about getting to MK on your arrival day. If your flight gets in at 2:30, how would you get from the airport, to drop off your bags, and then to MK around 4? Any willingness to spend all day at MK on day 3 and spend your arrival day closer to your resort at either Epcot or HS? The parks closer earlier, but MK is farther and will you be closing out the park on your arrival day?

If your flight lands at 2:30, it is quite unlikely you will be in the MK by 4:00. Probably closer to 5:30 - 6:00. Only saying this as if you intend to purchase and stack Genie+ rides, you would want to select return times of 6:00 or later I would anticipate.

I would recommend reading the first posts on the Everything Genie thread to help familiarize yourself with how it works but as a heads up it hasn't been working well/at all today so not sure what the status of it will be tomorrow.

Thank you! I just spoke to my 19 year old and showed her all of the responses so far. She wants to do MK first even if just to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. We had our last trip in June 22, staying at Boardwalk Inn- and we did our arrival day at Epcot for that trip. She wants to do something different.

Do you have your Park Reservations confirmed ? YES
Do you plan to try for 7:00 a.m. VQ Boarding for Cosmic Rewind at Epcot? I haven't figured this out yet!! But we would like to!

And I guess realistically, we won't get to MK until closer a little later. I think our flight lands at 2:20.

Thats not a bad idea to stack them up, Assuming you have service, start with 7AM G+ and make a new one every 2 hours, obviously modify them to a time that you'll realistically be at the park. Maybe make your first G+ a ride that wouldn't be such a bummer to miss in case you do. You'll probably end up with 5-6 heading into the park if you schedule it right.

If you’re flying in, I wouldn’t risk Genie +.
