Last-Minute Disneyland Trip. Request for advice.

I've booked a last-minute trip to Disneyland Paris, leaving this Friday for two nights, and I wondered if anyone could help out with a few questions.

  • I'm getting the direct Eurostar from London and will arrive at about 13:30. I'd really like to leave my luggage (single small case on wheels) with Guest Storage to avoid going to the Hotel and it looks like this is possible, but can anyone confirm that you really can store a luggage item like this. I could take rucksacks if there was any doubt.
  • I'm probably going to get Annual passes (Fantasy) rather than 3-day park hoppers. How long should I expect it to take to process the Annual Passes. I didn't want to waste too much time on the first day as I will already be quite late getting to the park. I don't mind if it only takes 15 or 20 minutes.
  • When I arrive at the park is there any point in me sorting out the Guest Storage thing while my wife queues for tickets or is this not going to save me much time.
  • I'm staying at Hotel L'Élysée in Val d'Europe. I was hoping to use the early Extra Magic Hours at the weekend, but I can't work out if this will be possible. DLRPmagic and some other sites say...

"Extra Magic Hours are available for anyone staying at any of the following seven Disney Hotels (or the resort-owned Hotel L'Élysée in Val d'Europe)"

...but the Disney site itself implies it's only available to people booking a package (including tickets) through Disney.

I've found a scan of the EMH leaflet on-line and it just says you have to show your Park Entrance Ticket (I'll have a Fantasy Annual Pass) and your Resort ID (or Room Keycard for Hotel L'Elysee) for EMH entrace so I should be able to do that, but I'm really not sure whether I'll get away with it. Has anyone actually done this. I tried to phone Disney but they weren't very helpful.

Thanks for you help.

Hi there we have used guest storage before with 2 massive family suitcases with no problems....only down side is at the entrance gates you have to open your cases for them to check don't get me wrong they just have a quick look inside they don't empty it or anything

i think it cost about £5 euro equivalent but can't be sure but it is not that expensive they just give you a ticket to produce on your return
it is located outsde the park on the far right side.......hopefully by afternoon the queues for tickets will have gone down some so that should not take too long to buy tickets

when you buy annual passports you can buy them at the gate or by a day hopper ticket which will be offset against the cost of a passort...either way you need to go to the passport office in the park as it has to be done on your 1st day takes about 20 mins or so

if you buy a dream passport this includes extra magic hours if your hotel package does not though you will need to check your own package this is regardless of where you stay with a dream passport.....if you have a dream passport you also get free guest stoage but would mean carrying your case just till you got your passport though should not take long the other advantage if you plan to do a lot of shopping its a 20% discount on production of passport so if you are it pays for its self the difference between the fantasy and dream passports cost plus ther are no blackout dates for any return in the year of the passport being valid

i hope this helps and i am sure many more people will give you advice on this site and correct anything that i have got wrong or missed out but they are all a great help enjoy DLP and remember after being a member here you will be much better prepared and informed wish i found it before my 1st trip

Hi Steve!
The other option with your luggage if you don't want to open it on the way in to the park would be to leave it at left luggage lockers in the station. It's not expensive but the price changes depending on the size of the locker. They have really big ones too.
I think guest storage was cheaper for us than already quoted but I can't remember exactly.

Have a great trip!

Thanks for the info. That answers most of my questions, it's just the Extra Magic Hour business that I'm still unsure about.

I guess I'll just turn up at 8am on Saturday and see how I get on.
