after months of back and forth shall we bring the munchkin shall we sneak away to play on a teenager/adult only trip? Finally this weekend we have made a decision.... the kiddo gets to goooooooooooooooooooooooooo!:hippie:  :dance3:

I mean really how could we leave her home when she sits in your lap and says "Gramma, I wanna go to Disneyland again" every time one of those danged wonderful YOMD commercials comes on. I mean really how can we leave her behind? Not two trips in a row.

If we don't bring her this time, and we definately can't take her to WDW in January because we are going to run the marathon... it would just not be right to leave our little Disney buddy home.

She is 4 1/2, this will be her 4th trip to the Land and she is a veteran of one trip to the World as well. She is being raised right. Normally her mama goes too, but this trip she will not be able to go.

So it is papa, gramma, muchkin and the my dear sis and three teens.

Today I stopped at the Disney Warehouse in Burlington and got a bunch of suvies for everyone.... we are not going to have to do much shopping in the Land :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh I completely agree! My first trip that I remember was with my Grandparents, at age 16! I can't wait to take my grandkids! (my sons are 11 and 5, so I have a while to wait...)

Having a little one with makes it more magical sometimes.
Have a wonderful trip.:dance3:

Yesterday I went to Home Depot and liberated a handful of Mickey Head paint chips. Then I made little miss a countdown poster for the next 18 (ok now really 17!!!) days.

This is the FIRST time she has ever known ahead of time that she is going to go to DL, usually we just get in the car and head for the airport. She figures it out at the airport because in her little world ALL airplanes go to Disney.

We decided this time to let her share in the preplanning excitment. And whoo hooo she is 42 inches tall now!:cool1: This means she can ride some of the things she was too short to ride last October.

She is really looking forward to riding the "crazy train" (BTM), and thinks she may be brave enough to actually stay through ITTBB.

Gramma (me!) is so excited to be taking my little Disney buddy on this trip. What took me so long to make up my mind? :confused3
