My family and I (DH, DW, DD3) are considering a last-minute trip to WDW in December. Our travel dates would be Dec. 20-Dec. 24 and we are open to staying at value or moderate. We would include the dining package, and just base tickets without the hopper. This late in the game, are there any codes/deals/discounts that can help us? Thanks very much!!

Offer code is QXZ and you must have a Disney Visa. You can extend past 12/20 (for up to 10 nights) if you check in by 12/20 (provided the resort you choose has availability).

They did have some resident and AP discounts through the 23rd of Dec. It might be worth it to apply for the card if you're not against having it. They have zero interest for 6 months as a benefit for booking packages as well as the Disney Dollars ( earn 1 for every 100 spent) You might want to check out the website to see if you are interested. You can even get a $40 bonus if you click on a link on the WDW site. If you know someone that has the card and they give you their customer code, you both get $25!

About Booking
You must book by 12/23/08. For phone bookings, you pay a deposit of one night's room rate plus tax. No change or cancellation fee will be charged if you make your modification more than 5 days before arrival. You can also book online through the Florida resident section of DisneyWorld.com, but for online bookings the change/cancellation deadline is 6 days and you have to pay in full if you book less than 45 days in advance. In other words, there's a real incentive to book by phone!

You can book one room per adult resident. Proof of residency required at check-in.

I have also been looking for values and wondering if I should settle for a moderate. Which moderate did you get and how much $$?

The moderates were all available. 5 nights , 2 adults, 1 junior, 1 child, $1709 with free dining and 4 day tickets. I think this included tax but no insurance.

I am going Dec. 15-17th and on orbitz got 2 nights at the All Star Music for $104. That is including taxes. the code is 35ORBDOT... you just have to order through Orbitz and it applies to all the Disney resorts

We are going December 20-23. At POR , 2 adults, 1 junior, 2 child, $863.27 (including tax no insurance) with free dining and 5 one day base tickets. Booked with the Disney Visa (code QXY)

I don't know what is still out there I booked this in the first few days of that offer. I think it is the best for those dates but I could be wrong.

The OP said that they wanted to get the Dining Plan and the DDP is not available at Swan (or Dolphin or Shades of Gree) because they are not Disney owned.
