Hello,

Our holiday this year cost £2500.00 for 2 adults including our disney tickets.

We have seen alot of last minute deals for about the same time with TCD and other companaies for about £400-600 each (for 2 between £800.00 - 1200.00plus tickets around £400.00 for us both).

So I am thinking if we could maybe get a last minute deal we maybe able to afford to go again sooner then we thought.

How many of you have been on a last minute holiday to WDW?

Is it easy?

We are thinking of going again end sept/early oct but we wont know until end Aug (DH's job). We have never done a last minute trip, just the chance of it is quite exciting
I have priced VA M+M flights at about 300.00 each (2 adults 2 child) and then I will rent a townhouse for about 700.00 so that's less than 2000.00 which I think is pretty good for 4 of us, that's about half what it cost us to go booking everything with VH for earlier this year. Then there's the car, insurance, tickets and spending money - phew, it all adds up. :scared:

Before/if I book the above I will check TCD and other charter companies before booking, as you say there are some great charter late deals at the moment, I wouldn't dismiss them if it means another trip.

Thanks you two!

I am so wanting to go again next year...my DH has no idea of my plans yet but I am determined!!!

My plan this year was to wait right until the last minute to book for end of Sept., but the flights costs are starting to creep up now. From a low flight price of £270 from Manchester with Airtours about a month ago they're now up to £310. I think we're going to book soon rather than wait til the death.
Looking at prices to go on Saturday there doesn't seem to be any cheapies about.

:rotfl: Me too! We have a holiday booked through VH (fly drive - good deal) in March which hes all :yay: for. But I want to go for 3/4 weeks in the summer.....haven't broken the news yet:rolleyes1 Will wait until I've booked the flights then break it to him :lmao:

Sorry, it's Virgin Atlantic Miles + Money fares. You can be eligible for these fares when you have flown with VA before, joined their flying club and collected "miles" from previous trips.

Last minute deals tend to work out well for you if you are going at a less popular time of year. We waited till yesterday to book for next week (not out of choice, but uncertainty as to circumstances) and prices have rocketed over the past month (and only 2 disney hotels had availability by the time we booked). If you're going during downtime though, last minute deals are great.

Yep, agreed there. We cant find a price now that is 'reasonable' for this time of year, and we're well use to the ridiculous prices being charged for holiday periods!
