Last minute cruise questions

My husband and I are considering booking a 4 night cruise on the Dream for either late November or early December this year. We have never cruised with Disney before. Would be be missing out on any major experiences by booking late? We're not interested in the adult restaurants or the tea party. Besides shore excursions, are all other reservations booked once on the ship? We are only interested in things to do with our 2 girls.

Princess Gathering, and Frozen Meet & Greet are pre-cruise bookings that you might miss out on. But, you never know for sure, until you try. You can also go to Guest Services once onboard to see if there are any additional ticket available, even if it's sold out pre-cruise).

We've often booked last minute and never felt like we've missed out.

if it's your first venture on DCL, you'll have so much to see (sea?) and do that youwon't mis not having booked any of the "extra" stuff.

When we did the Meet and Greets, there were a number of no-shows, so people were able to walk up and get in line no problem, but of course each time could be different.

In general though, there will be plenty to do, including stuff you sign up for on the ship. So i'd say go for it!

We booked our first cruise a month out. A last minute decision for our wedding anniversary. If we missed something we did not know it. It was so much fun we are scheduled now for our 5th in January. You will have fun no matter how late you book!
