Last minute bookings???

Has anyone had any luck booking villa's 30 day prior to going? Why you ask? We are in ROFR right now, decided to buy after planning my dd's b-day trip. (realized DVC would be a good value for us in the future.) Anyway, our ressie is in early Nov and with any luck we will be closing by the end of Sept. It would be great if we could switch over to a two bedroom at a DVC resort. Any suggestions?

It can certainly happen, but will depend on the dates and type of villa. 2BRs are often available on short notice for some times of the year. November is a very popular time to go, but it can't hurt to call and see what's available.

In addition to popular member times, MS turns over any unreserved DVC villas to CRO at 60 days - so you'll not only be competing with other DVC members but also cash reservations especially within 30 days.
