Last minute booking

I am planning on going down for the day tomorrow. If I decide I want to stay for one night, is it possible to find a discounted deal for a last minute room? Anyone know if they offer that?

doubtful. If you check online availability I don't think you can book same day.Just be prepared to pay rack rate, it's the beginning of Flower and Garden at EPCOT. I've never had a same day discount, always wound up paying rack rate.

Best you could do would be a AAA room-only discount. They do not offer last-minute discounts at WDW

I just checked next day availability for a friend, and you can certainly book next day. But -Disney doesn't do last minute discounts. Expect to pay full rack rate.

Discounts are usually released some months in advance, and have an expiration date. For example, you'd have to book by a certain date to get the discount.

Things may have changed but we have booked last minute and gotten a room only discounted rate. It was one trip when we decided to go down a day early - couldn't add on a night to our FD reservation at AS Music (no availability) so rather than pay rack rate at AS Music we booked CB with a room only discount. We called while driving down to Disney so it was very last minute.

Do your homework today - see if there are any discounts running right now. Be prepared to be flexible on room location

Do not just walk in.

Call the 800 number and ask for a discount that you are entitled to (AAA, AP, Florida Resident etc...) that sometimes works.

Walkins at Disney get rack rate (I am famous for my late minute bookings. I had a CM at the front desk tell me "go outside and call, they can give you the AP rate we cant'" LOL!

I would have an offsite plan to if you decide not to pay Disney rates. (Swan/Dolphin might actually give you a deal, just call, they work like normal hotels and $$ is good in thier book!)
