We are last minute going to MNSSHP on Sunday 10/14. Trying to book a room Sat-Mon. Nothing reasonable available. I know its the end of Columbus Day week. Any thoughts that rooms might open up before I book something non refundable offsite? My hubs wants onsite mod or value. Looking at Bonnett Creek too..

Have you tried calling? I hear people have had luck when no availability is showing on line but a CM finds something over the phone.

Call the reservation line, and check sites like Orbitz and Expedia.

The month of October has become one of the busiest times of the year. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they were fully booked. I've got friends down there now who say the parks are packed.

I hope you can find something. :thumbsup2

Search a wider date range. I got more results from checking 10/13 - 10/18 than 10/13 - 10/15. There's even a discounted All Star Music room popping up.

And then what?
Disney has instituted algorithms to limit “Orphan” rooms. It is no longer always possible to book more nights than you want and then drop some

Ahhh...I see. I forgot it's inside of 30 days.

I saw Hilton Bonnett Creek on Priceline for $153/night for your dates as an express deal. You should check there and Hotwire if you can't find a room for a reasonable price on property.

I had issues finding a thurs - mon stay for the 25-29 but finally found something. I would try a search including either the day prior or day after to see if something is available and then call to see if the CM can override and book just your dates.

Alternately try booking a split 2 nights and one night and again call to see if a CM can book for you. Disney has changed its booking to maximize bookings and leave less rooms 'stranded" for one night. Longer stays are easier to book!

A bit like the websites that let you choose theater or sporting even seats - most won't let you book seats that would result in a single available seat in the row.

But you could call and see if the CM can override and book right?
Agreed. The CMs can sometimes accomplish this when they talk to Guest Services. Don't give up until you've tried that.

Thanks!! Ill try calling again. Last time it was just a one bedroom suite. Too $$$.

Do you need transportation or are you driving? Did you try Swan/Dolphin or Disney Springs resorts?

I've gotten around it by calling Disney and telling them I can see the room for all my dates. They have to escalated it up and have someone over ride it, but it's a great way to get the shorter stays when availability isn't showing online.
