So I've just decided to spend May 4-6th in the parks. I haven't purchased tickets yet, but hope to do so with the next 4 or 5 days. I'll link them at that time to MDE, but am I going to have any FP+ availability? Worried that the high demand rides will all be filled since my trip is less than 30 days away. Feeling a little stressed....Any thoughts or experiences? Thanks All!

I just booked May 4-9 this week and was able to get most of the fast passes I wanted. Anna and Elsa and Mine Train weren't available. Toy story I had to do later in the day (ie after dinner). But other than that, there was lots of availability. I was pleasantly surprised. :)

To get an idea what days FP+ is still available, this is the best tool I have seen. It does not tell you what times are available though.

If you go to www.easywdw.com , the site has free touring plans and cheat sheets as well as crowd calendars. The cheat sheets give you estimates for wait times for different times of the day based on crowd levels.

Another source for wait times and touring plans is www.touringplans.com . They are the source for the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. Their site has crowd calendars and touring plans also. (The two do not always agree.) The have an option for producing a customized touring plan in addition to multiple set touring plans. They also have an app you can use in park to update your plan if something disrupts schedule. The site is $12.95/yr. There may be some discount. The app is additional.

I use touring plans and love it! So much info. Anyway, the crowd calendar there is showing 5s and 4s for the week (1 being lowest crowds of the year, 10 being highest crowds of the year). So average crowds.

Hello there! We go every May around that time. Last year when we went there were December like crowds there. It was horrible and none of the plans I checked predicted the insane crowds. When we returned we found out that it was because of a huge cheerleading competition called the Summit. Some friends of ours that went a week later said the crowds had thinned out by then. Anywho, just wanted to give you a heads up! Have fun!!!!
