last minute ADRs during free dining

just thought i'd let people know that i booked a last minute trip during free dining for mid-september on sunday. I was still able to get all the reservations I wanted except for Coral Reef. As long as you don't mind eating later (1:30-2:00 for lunch or 8:00-8:30 for dinner--lots of us close out the parks rather than open them ), there were still plenty of ADRs around. Happy eating!

I'm glad it worked out well for you! Unfortunately we are not having so much luck. We booked our trip and ADR's when the free dining promo first came out, but in the past week or two have decided we'd like to add a couple that we just cannot get even though we have called every day. There are no dinner reservations available at Sci-Fi on 9/15, and no dinner times available at Ohana on the 12th, 13th, or 16th for a party of 5.

dont give up, but if you cant get them try the concierge in the morning tha you want to go, of course have some back ups. but we have had good luck the mornings of, to get what we wanted.

I booked last minute, too, and have had good luck with ADR's for a party of 11! I was even able to get Chef Mickey's and PSB for all 11 of us at 1 table! The only thing I could not get was dinner at 1900 Park, but I am not giving up. I will just keep calling!

Looks like we are there at the same time - I started in April/ May too for a party of 10. Could not get O-Hana either - but got 1900 Park Fare and did not know about the Cinderella dinner- so I am very excited. We got Sci-Fi for lunch on the 14th - but could not get dinner there or 50's - or most dinners accept Epcot - so lots of good lunches. I had a hard time getting ADRs early - but I am still happy with what I got.

I think it entirely depends on where you want to eat. We booked early and were able to get Ohanas, Cinderella 1900 Fare, Chefs De France and Kona Cafe, all for dinner at 7:00.
