Trip is only 17 days away. DW and I have made and altered our ADR's several times. We are on the DDP.

As of now we have the following for our dinners:

Mama Melrose (Fantasmic Package)
Coral Reef
Narcoossees
Boma
Tokyo Dining

We also like the following and are thinking about changing ADRs to:

San Angel Inn
One of the French restaurants (ah Paris . . . Bistro or Chefs?)
50's Prime Time
Rose n Crown

Would you change any of our current ADR's with one of the above? Keeping in mind we've never been to Mama Melrose, Narcoossees, Boma, Tokyo Dining, San Angel Inn or the French restaurants.

Thanks

First, this late in the game, you might have trouble adjusting your adr's, but if you are set on it, I would certainly try. We really enjoy our meals at Mama Melrose--we've been there three years in a row (and note you will not be able to get 50's Prime Time for the Fantasmic Package). We like Coral Reef as well. We have never done Narcoossess, we are tryinh Boma ourselves for the first time this year and have never done the Tokyo restaurant. We do like 50's Prime Tme and love Rose and Crown. We have never tried San Angel or any of the French restaurants because we don't like that type of food.

I just gave up Tokyo for Aug. 18 6 :10 pm
and took 50"S Prime Time . We had to split up the party 2/2 rather than 4 or eat at 8:30 PM so I guess it fills up quickly.
who in their right mind ( other than us :lmao: ) makes dinner reservations 190 before they need them ?:confused3

Thanks Kat - yeah, it may be difficult to change anything anyway. But there are just so many restaurants we want to eat at! Only so many days!

Glad to hear you've had good Mama Melrose experiences. That was one I was wondering about.

We also love Rose n Crown - been there so many times, just wanted to try some new places.

We've surprised ourselves for how adventurous we're being this time...normally we stick to our standbys, but of the 5 nights, the Coral Reef is the only restaurant I've been to.

Your choices sound great to me too....and as the previous person said....may be extremely hard to change any of your reservations..
Have fun when you go on your vacation

I agree, I would keep what you have, especially since they are all new places for you. And if it makes you feel any better, San Angel Inn is terrible food and Bistro in France, while probably one of the best places at WDW, does not accept the dining plan.

And there's always the next trip to try the new places. :cool1:

May not be too late but all I can say is to call but don't cancel any until they book the one you want to change to. If I was you I would keep the one at Narcoossees it is great place to eat at. Boma is also very good.:goodvibes Good luck, never hurt to try :)

I would keep what you have, they all look great, and that gives you an excuse for next year to go to the other restaurants. Mama Melrose is good and you get the fantasmic ticket to get in the backdoor and don't have to wait in a long line.

Just so you know, I have been able to get ADRs (in Sept) while there without much trouble. Now I'm not talking about the hard to get ones (CRT,etc.) however, the last 2 trips I've made ADRS for the entire trip and we have changed some of them while there. Ususally it's because we are not going to be in a park on a day I have a park restaurant. As soon as I know we aren't going to keep one, I call and get a new one somewhere else and cancel the unused one.

So, my point is, yes-keep an ADR just in case, but don't give up on getting a different one even on the day you are looking for. People do change their plans. Have a great time!
