Looks like we may be taking one more person with us in November. How would you go about increasing you ADR's by 1? Is it easier to just show up to the restaurant and ask for 1 more? What's been your experience??

i booked my TG ressie for CP in MK yesterday am for 4 people. i called back later that afternoon to add another family, a party of 5< and it was no problem.

It depends on how many people your current ADRs are for. If you are going from a group of 3 to 4, that will be no problem. The table size will be the same for either group. If you are going from 4 to 5 that will be a problem, because you will need a larger table.

You really should try to change your ADRs ahead of time. If that fails, you can show up with more people than your reservation is for, but be aware that you may have to wait an extra long time to get seated. Or they may not be able to accomodate your extra person. Disney will do their best, but at restaurants such a Le Ceiller they would have a heck of a time accomodationg extra guests.

Actually depending on the location, there are tables that are just set for 3 and they can not add another seat due to exit/safety issues.

For the OP, it can be rough to add one more person. Start by calling and talk to them. It just depends on when you are going (during free dining, it is tough). If you are flexible about times that would help them.

But there are too many variables for us to just say how easy/hard it will be for you.

I get an absolute commitment from EVERYONE
going before I make our ADR's. People who aren't
into Disney don't get it. Before you start rearranging
your ADR's, I would be sure that everyone is fully
committed to going.

Thanks for the comments. I guess I should have mentioned that we are going with 8 and increasing (possibly) to 9. Thoughts?

Going from 8 to 9 can be a problem, you will require a different size table.
I would keep calling.
Good Luck

1) You will probably have a problem.
2) A table for nine mean adding a table.
3) This would bump out another party of four.
4) Go ahead an try it.
5) But, do not be surprised if someone doesn't get to eat.
