Last minute 1 day trip

My sister and I are going to visit my dad in the Villages (about an hour north of Disney). Very last minute trip and we have decided to go to Disney on Sunday (11.11) We bought a 1 day hopper. I have NEVER done Disney like this before. Last minute...one day....totally not planned. Of course, there are like no FP's. I was only able to get a couple at MK in the evening. I would love to see the new Toy Story area....no FP's available of course. If we do RD at HS, can we do Slinky and TSM? Then, we can hop to MK for the evening? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Last big family trip was 2016....Thanks so much!

****Change of Plans - looks like Monday will be less crowded than Sunday, so we are going to go Monday instead. We'll have to do MK first, since there is a Christmas party that night. If we don't go to HS till afternoon, there's probably no chance of riding TSM or Slinky, huh?

I hope so! We arrive late Friday night, for a short Sat - Sun trip, heading back home Monday morning.

I was only able to get Star Tours, Indiana Jones and Tower of Terror.

I wish us both luck!

My guess is yes. Book it over to SDD first, then TSM. My kids were able to book it over on opening week and were on and off in 35 min.

So fun - wish I lived close enough for a spur of the moment visit! Of course crazy for all of us ultra planners, but you will have a great time with whatever you get done! Sunday is likely to be busy with the Veteran's Day Weekend and Jersey week crowds, so just bear that in mind. It is EMH morning at DHS, so plan to be there by 7 am and you should be good for RD. Enjoy TSL!

I live in Ohio - I've never done a spur of the moment....but, my dad just bought a house in the villages and wanted my sister and I to come down and check it out. It's very strange to suddenly be going for a day. I've only done the ultra year long planning too!
