Last meal ideas?

Hi

On the day we travel home it's my DH birthday so I'd like to go somewhere nice for lunch.

We won't have a car the last day and we'll be checking in at DTD early doors to avoid the queues as per previous post I've read.

We usually spend our last day of any hol looking around the shops and letting the kids spend there last few pennys followed by a nice leisurely lunch. I'm not one for packing as much as I can on the last day - I just like to chill.

Are there plenty of shops at DTD and am I right in thinking the rainforest cafe is there? In otherwords - is there pleanty to do at DTD that would occupy us until around 2pm ish????

Also - can you pre organise anything special on the return flight with VA?

yes theres plenty to do at DTD, loads of shops and places to eat including rainforest cafe.

I love DTD. My DH and I spent 2 whole days there last time we went (OK that was 11 years ago) and we are scheduling in some time there this time too!
As it was such a long time ago I am sure there are many more people here able to tell you about the restaurants better than me!

Not too keen on Rainforest Cafe, the one at the Animal Kingdom is better I think due to how busy the one at DTD is. Raglan Road and Wolfgand Pucks are maybe worth a look. There is the new T-Rex restaurant (same people as RF Cafe). Obviously not been there yet but the reviews don't really inspire me too much. AllEars.net has all the menus and the "Unofficial Guide" is a good source of inofrmation.

A couple of years ago we ate at Capn Jacks and really enjoyed the cool space and we had a window table, just really nice and laid back.

Wolfgang Puck's in the West Side is a nice place for lunch Their pizzas are great.
