Yes, can you tell I was trying to have some of the pineapple (unsuccessfuly I might add )

It was a strong drink, straight liquor, even LM said so.
Next time I'll ask for cherries & grenadine with it.

I still have to try a Dole Whip, can you believe it?

Make sure you try the Dole Whip Float. It is a Dole Whip on top of pineapple juice. I had one in March and it was delish!! You can get the float with pineapple, vanilla, or chocolate ice cream on top.

Our last day w/ DNiece and we had two parks left to go! Could we fit them in and still be laZy?? Hmmmm.......

DNiece and I walked from our beloved Polynesian to the TTC to catch the monorail to Epcot
We were lucky enough to see a track switch/train change, pretty cool
Then we got to ride in front & DNiece got her "license"

Then we had arrived!

Breakfast at Akershus was fun, very good food & the company was royal We rated the food as an 8, atmosphere a 9

Off to The Land

Soarin'!

We also did the boat ride through The Land, always neat and relaxing!

LM met us around 11am...while we went on Soarin' again (DNiece loved it)
he got the turkey sandwich at Sunshine Seasons, he said it was excellent, an 8, and the strawberry shortcake a 10!

Ha, I'm absolved for the chocolate!


Then to ~The Seas~ with Nemo and friends, we enjoyed this Living Seas very much, DNiece esp LOVED it! (sorry no pics of the clamshells )


Then to WS!

Time for a mission!

We were sent to the UK, it was fun! Top SeCret, that's all I can say!

We were on a tight time frame to fit the parks in so -

On to DHS, lights camera action!

Hooooooooraaaaay for Hollywood!

DNiece pulled the rope at Indy, posed under the rain and umbrella - this was a very quick, hour and a half visit but we enjoyed it

For dinner we had EvEn mOre ~royal ~aspirations

A Fun Dinner! Food an 8 (OMG LOVE the strawberry soup) atmosphere an 8! and Stepsisters a 10, a Hoot and a Half!


DNiece & I took the monorail to the MK afterwards to ride BTMR &HM a couple more times, watch SpectroMagic

Very fun and fitting way to end her stay!

We did breakfast at Crystal Palace with DNiece before she left WDW, and the characters were wonderful!DNiece and I ~ L-O-V-E- ~ Pooh and friends!

And the food as always was excellent, a solid 8
(OMG THE PUFFED FRENCH TOAST is a 10!!) and a 10 for atmosphere!

Sadly then it was back to finish packing for DNiece & head to the airport

Unfortunately with delays at the airport, this ended up taking the entire day, for us all, pretty much - but DNiece got home safely with lots of treasures in tow and memories to last til next time!

By the time we got back to WDW, we were SO ready for dinner

We headed to the CR to try ~The Wave~ and there was no wait at the bar, in fact there was almost no one in the bar! Lots of people waiting for tables so the bar was perfect and so was our bartender, Brucie. She gave excellent service and we enjoyed drinks and dinner very much
LM and I both rated it as 9 for both food & atmosphere and will def. go back.

After ~The Wave~ LM insisted we go to the MK to watch Wishes - so far we had only watched them from the beach at the Poly. One of the many reasons why I love him so much.

Tomorrow would be OUR last day why does time seem to speed up so here? We wait & wait for it, then it's over so quickly.

So sad to see Dniece go. She looked like she had a great time. I bet she still hasn't stopped talking about it.

You know, I'm glad you said something about eating at the bar. I noticed that nobody does this much. When we were shopping at the Rainforest Cafe, I asked one of the sales people if you could eat at the bar. They said sure. I'm thinking that the next trip DH and I take we'll be doing this. I don't want to do the DDP on that trip and I hate making all the ADRs.

When it's the two of us, we find it relaxing to eat at the bar. Or at a table in the bar area. LM looked at all of the people waiting & said, let's try it. Definitely will check out which other places we can do that at WDW, know there's a thread about that somewhere.

~ Aloha! ~
Our last day came all too soon!
We were not flying out until 8pm at night, so we'd planned for LM to sleep in & I was headed to Epcot for the Segway Around the World tour. I walked the walk over to the TTC, enjoying the Polynesian grounds every step of the way.

The last couple of monorail rides are always bittersweet. Soon, we arrived at Epcot & I headed to check in for the tour.

The tour ended up being one of the best experiences I've ever had at Disney.

It starts w/ a short "class" in Innoventions, our instructor was hilarious & the instruction period flew by. Quickly, we selected helmets & were off to training. This was so fun! Only one person in our group had balance issues, the rest of us were very shortly zipping through the obstacle course. As fun as the course inside was, the next part was just amazing!

Now experienced riders, we zipped out through FW and into WS! This was the best part! As a huge Epcot fan, riding a Segway through WS before it was open was a dream come true. If you've read that you feel like a VIP doing this, it's true. If you've read that it makes you feel like an insider, it's true. I can't come up w/ enough adjectives to describe how much fun this experience truly was!! I'm so grateful to have done it & will ABSOLUTELY do it again! I'd love to hear from Dis'ers who've done the tour at Ft. Wilderness.

So....having had the most fun at Disney yet, I headed to France to get some pastries for LM & I to share back at the Polynesian. We had a 1pm check out so we were able to stay & enjoy every last minute possible that day.

After check out we went to DTD for a bit of shopping before heading to the airport. We went to the airport extra early & found all of the nice polite Canadians waiting patiently in queue w/out any attendants at the counter.
Apparently we were all early. After we did get checked in, we headed to Chili's and relaxed over an early dinner then went to the gate.

What did we love the most?
The Polynesian resort, Samoa longhouse, watching Wishes from the pool
SEGWAY tour!!
Kona Island was such a super way to start the day
Kona Cafe (breakfast & dinner both were excellent)
The Wave, must do again & will eat at the bar, so fun

Akershus (Character breakfast was MUCH better than dinner)
Crystal Palace (Character breakfast, every meal here is wonderful)
1900 Park Fare (Character dinner was fun, probably just a one timer for us)

That Segway tour was a great finish. I'll have to remember that for our next trip.

I've enjoyed this TR very much. I learned some things also which is always great! Thank you so much for doing it.

Sorry I missed this, but as they say, better late than never!!

Wow! I'll echo the others' comments by complimenting LM on his gorgeous pictures!

I loved the whole Lazy Report... I'm trying to learn how to be a bit more lazy myself. How old is DNiece? It looks like you really enjoyed the Kim Possible Mission... I'd love to try that with DD and DNiece in November!!

And what's this?? Another trip so soon? Boy, am I jealous! Well, hopefully I'll get over to the report sooner than this one.
