On the day we will be going to the parade at AK (Tues, Dec 6 to be exact), I would like to grab a FP prior to the start of the parade (3:45) for use after the parade.

What is the last FP arrival time window for Kilimanjaro Safaris? Or what time is the last safari, typically?

Will this work?

Fastpass times change every day for every ride. No way to judge...sorry.

The last Safari loads at 5:00 PM ( we just did this on Sunday) We did notice that there were not nearly as many animals out at 5:00 PM as there were when we rode at 10:00 AM. The kids were dissapointed because they had seen so many animals in the morning. It was also about 12 hours before Wilma was set to hit so they may have started putting most of the animals inside. Anyhow if at all possible fast pass and go earlier in the day.

I plan to visit AK in the a.m. one day and do an early safari along with all the other 'stuff' at AK.
Then, we have ADR at Boma's on another evening so I thought we might FP the safari before catching the parade. Then hopefully use the FP before leaving the park to go to our ADR at Boma's.

I want to do a late safari because I read that the animals you see are different. Anyone have this experience??

Will this work??

I did exactly what you're going to do on December, 2003, on 12/10, I think was the date. The last safari left at around 4:30 that day, so when I got the FP, its "end" time was 4:25. I watched the parade from Africa, so that right after I saw it, I could get over to KS. I think the reason the last safari was before park closing was that sunset is so early in December.

Thanks for the input. I have sure learned a lot from others on these boards!!
