Just 4 more questions on WL....I've never stayed here, but I'm very excited. Can you tell? :bounce:

So we're going to drive to the MK entrance gate...get in the far right lane...tell them that we have reservations at WLV...& they will direct us from there?

I visited once (drove from the Poly to the WL), but I can't remember the parking lot. There is just one that services both the lodge & the villas & it is located in front of the lobby, correct? It will be a long walk from the villas then?

Any comments on Roaring Forks Snack Shop? I wasn't impressed with the Poly's Captain Crook's. Can anyone compare? I've never visited Roaring Forks.

I'm pretty sure this is the last one... Would you recommend walking to Fort Wilderness...or taking the boat?

Thanks again! Any help is appreciated.

We love the WL-been there 3 times. I have never stayed at WLV-but they look great too.

Keep to the right as you enter MK and tell the guards where you are checking in. It's pretty easy to get to WL. The streets have a colored line down them, so you just need to follow the green line. It's pretty much straight ahead and then make a right on you are on the path to WL. There are signs as well. But a warning-when a Disney sign says "Turn right for___" that means turn right RIGHT NOW! The signs dont give you much warning before you have to turn. We got ourselves lost on many occasions :)

The parking lot is in front of the WL. I dont know if there is a separate parking area for WLV, sorry.

We enjoyed Roaring Forks. We especially loved their desserts-awesome cupcakes and brownies! If you go to www.wdwig.com and look under Dining and Menus, there is a menu for Roaring Forks. That might help you out.

As for Fort Wilderness. It's a bit of a walk. Depends on how much energy you want to expel! I wouldnt walk it at night-it's very dark.
We rented bikes and rode over there to the petting zoo which is fun. Besides the boat, you can also take a bus there. We did that when we went to see Hoop Dee Doo.

Hope you have a great trip!
