Last day to go to Vero

When does it become too cold to swim in the ocean at Vero? Thinking about adding on a small stay to our trip here – isn't Vero heavenly? Just thiinking about it makes me smile...

The water at Vero never does get very cold since it's the start of the tropic area of Florida and the gulf stream is right offshore. Air temps can make it a little nippy. You could hit good and bad days all winter but I would guess the toughest would be mid-December to early February.

My Aunt and Uncle want us to join them on their boat in early November, they will be docked at the yacht club at Vero (I think!) and so we thought we would spend a few days at the resort and a few with them. Would it be warm enough for us to swim then or should we just wait and go to the Caribbean in the spring with them?
