Hi Everyone

We will be visiting the world again this Dec 3 to 9. We were just there last December and had not planned on returning for a couple years so we really packed alot in to that trip. Unfortunatly I was involved in a very serious car accident Jan 7 and was out of commission for 3 mionths with a very bad concussion and a pelvis broken in 4 places . I'm all better now thank God but our poor 11 year old son has had a very rough time with it so we are surprising him pixiedust: with this trip (he also had a broken arm and surgery for it the day before my accident and a very miserable birthday 3 weeks later). :sad1:

Sooooo, we pretty much have the trip planned ::yes::, very low key with a ADR each day and MVMCP one night. Last year we went to a park on our last day and had lunch at EPCOT. Our flight last year and this year is at 8 pm on that Saturday night. Our plan for that day is breakfast at the POLY Lilo and Stitch breakfast at 9:20 am and then we would like to investigate the monorail resorts. We are staying at the WL an will probably pack up before breakfast and load the car up and leave it at WL and take the boat over to MK and get the monorail for breakfast.

Any suggestions :listen:as what to do the rest of the day? Lunch or visiting? We will probably stay at WDW till about 2 or 3 pm.

Thanks Everyone!!!!!!

So your park choices would be MK or Epcot staying on the Monorail?

I would hit the rides at MK one more time!

Lunch there if you want to keep it low key I would just do a simple Colombia Harbor House. If you want a sit down then Crystal Palace of course!

Have fun, sounds like you deserve it!

I think it is wonderful you have late flights like that! Ours are so early we will barely be able to eat breakfast at Chef Mickey's before we have to leave. You can fit a lot of magic in your last day!

Check out the Chistmas doings in the resorts, like Animal Kingdom Lodge...Boma has a chocolate African village for Christmas, and the Boardwalk has a chocolate or gingerbread board walk with rides etc and I think it is the Yacht Club that has a chocolate carousel. The Grand Floridian has a life size gingerbread house and you can buy gingerbread and other Christmas treats IN the house.....there are probably others (and if I got the Board Walk-Yacht Club thing wrong someone please jump in...I haven't seen them yet as this will be our first trip there at Christmas time, I just heard about them on a TV show last year on the Travel Channel!)

If anyone knows of others, I'd love to know!

Sara

I'd have to visit the MK that last day, and take lots of time strolling Main Street and browsing the shops. Then maybe have a late lunch at the Plaza.

First - I hope that everyone is feeling better and sorry to hear of your misfortune. But what a way to celebrate by surprising your son.

We'll actually be in WDW that week, Dec 1-9th (so we might see each other, I'll have my AGMH), but have a late morning flight out this trip. I wanted a later flight, but pricing dictated an earlier departure.

We usually fly later and before we head off to the airport, park hop during to do our favorite rides or at least as many as we can.

Enjoy and have a fantasmic trip :smickey:
