Last Day of School!

I can't beleive some of your kids still have a month left! But then again we will be going back on Aug. 16th, another mixed emotion day.

Mine have school til June 18th....3 days were added due to snow.

My kids in middle school really miss elementary school during the last week or so.....the lower grades just sit around, watch movies, do fun dittos, have picnics......in middle school, the last 3 days are FINALS!!

6/21 here! And we go back on Sept 1.
We have no snow days built into our calendar so each day we had off for snow was another day added on at the end!

DS will be getting out of Middle school June 23rd
the elementary schools started later so they go until June 28th

DD gets out next Thursday, June 3 and DS gets home from college Friday, June 11.

The last day here is June 4. Whatever happened to starting school after Labor Day and finishing at the END of June??????????

It still happens here. The last day of school is June 25, they go back on September 13.

My two are out on June 11th (but have a 4 day weekend this week due to unused snow days) so only have 7.5 days left of class. They will go back to school on August 30th.

Seems like the northeast is the only place left that starts school after Labor Day? They like starting it here in the middle of the summer!! I miss starting in Sept. - So the summer is June and July instead of July & Aug here! BLAA!

Down here in South FL they'll be starting school in July before we know it!!!!!

Sorry I'm in favor of the Sept - June thing. Yes it's nice to be out in May but starting school in early August is just too weird.
