Last Chance for Gay Days Tickets

Did you receive a confirmation email or anything. I ordered my tickets a couple days ago and the charge is still not on my visa card and I can't find anything in either of my email accounts. I am afraid it didn't go through.

Thanks

Ok.. I just ignored the confirmation page since my places email you a copy nowadays. I put a call in to make sure they got my order. Its fine if they aren't charging for a week, I just don't want to miss out on the deal, if it didn't happen to go through.
Thanks

I had tickets for the 5 of us at home, but invited oldest dd, who lives on her own, to come with us. She was thrilled! I got to take advantage of the Gay Days tickets last night to buy her 3-day hopper. I wish I'd known about GDs when I first booked our trip last May!

Thanks for posting this link! It is a great savings. I have never been to DLR and will be there Oct 5-8; do you how crowded the parks will get? Between the Columbus Day holiday and Gay Days, I'm trying to gauge how crowded it might be.

Thanks!

We received our park hoppers through the gay days website last week. :cool1:

We asked them to ship them early, and they did.

OT

the use by date on these tix (12/31/07) prohibits us from utilizing them.

did find in a search that there was a mini gay day this year, 6 months prior to the big event upcoming in Oct.

Q - anyone know if they sell tix for that event too? If so, how long are they valid?

TIA

I have never seen convention tickets offered for the mini-gay day time. I actually have only used convention tickets one other time, and that was for a gaming convention -- I forget the actual name, but they offered tickets to their attendees in a website form much like the gaydaysanaheim convention does. When these types of tickets become available, I will do my best to post them here on the DIS.

i ordered mine at 6pm hawaii time. the screen still let me order it and gave me a confirmation. i hope it goes through also.

I ordered on Tuesday the 18th, and today, I received a courtesy email message from my credit card company, notifying me that a large purchase was posted to my account (I signed up to be alerted anytime a purchase over $300 is made). The merchant listed in the email was "HES ATTRACTION TKTS ORLANDO FL".

I haven't received any email confirmation other than this, but I'm now confident that my order went through, and that I'll be receiving my tickets next week.

Received mine today, via FedEx.

The "tickets" are made from a heavy paper cardstock, perforated on the edges, about the size of a credit card, with a blue Disneyland Where Dreams Come True logo on the front side, and some disclaimer text in red, a barcode, and a signature line on the back side.

Front side looks like this (copied from an auction listing):

So, are these the actual tickets I'll be using each day in the parks, and inserting into FastPass machines, etc? I'll be surprise to hear the answer is yes, since they're only made of paper. Or are these actually "vouchers" to be redeemed for more durable "tickets" at the ticket booth?

Yes, those are the actual tickets you will use as your hoppers while you are there. Until recently, DLR has only used heavy paper cardstock type tickets. They have just began implementing the use of credit card type hoppers.

I keep mine secure and dry in a lanyard with a surf-safe on it.

I don't expect our gaydays tickets to arrive until tomorrow.

So excited--I got mine on Monday the 24! I thought that was the day they'd be shipping, but there it was delivered to my front door!! With the price increase at the park, it sure is a savings. Thanks, Gay Days!! :cool1: :thumbsup2

I also got mine on Monday!! It came as a surprise because I thought they would be shipped on Monday and I'd receive them on Thursday or Friday. The only thing left to do is set up an account to have some groceries delivered and we're good to go on Oct. 5th :yay: :cheer2:
