LAST CALL for the 10/18/03 Eastern Magic Cruise!

Loretta, we have always gone out on our own, rather than on the Disney excursions, because it is so much cheaper. However, this year we are going to do a Disney one, since it's on Castaway Cay. But if you're just thinking about going to a beach on St. Maarten or St. Thomas/St. John, it's pretty easy to just do-it-yourself!

We aren't doing too many organized excursions this year. Just shopping 'n stuff on St. Maarten, probably the same thing for St. Thomas, then the snorkeling excursion on CC. We went over to St. John 2 years ago and had a great time at Trunk Bay, but it's an all-day thing so we aren't doing it again this year. Maybe take advantage of the uncrowded ship more this year during ports of call!

My daughter says that is what she would like to do, explore the islands and see how other folks live, maybe shop & haggle a bit.

My husband and son both scuba, but they have both said they wouldn't be too dissapointed if they don't get any dives in this trip. It is a hassle to bring all that gear for just a day or two of diving. We'll see. There just seemed to be so much to choose from on the Western! Perfectly honest, some island time sounds pretty good, too

Don't be calling Beano's kids roll around coolers. They are actually pretty well behaved and quite thin. They do seem to spend a bit of daddy's cash though.

It appears as if we all are going to be in WDW at the same time, at least for a couple of days. How about trying to get together for a mini reunion since we can't cruise with you?

Are you guys doing the halloween party? We were thinking of going on the 16th.

Hey, we are going to MNSSHP on the 16th too! Got 'dem tickets packed already. It would be great to see you guys, especially that little girl!

We could meet somewhere around MK, at the party, or at a restaurant in MK or the Contemporary, or Poly. So many possibilities! Let me talk to the planning commission. (Renee and Kamy!)

Sounds great. Now we just have to order the tickets. We have the Christmas party tickets, but the halloween party was more last minute.

Jerry has been on jury duty since July 8th! We are really hoping he finishes this week. They are in deliberation.

Kamy: You are doing great on the weight loss! I can't wait to see you. I have lost 20 pounds with 10 more to go.

Kaleigh is getting so big! She is 10 months now and is crawling all over the place! She is so cute! I can't wait for you guys to meet her.

Kamy: How is the adoption process coming for you? Or dare I not ask? I have been out of the loop lately with you guys.

I see Maureen is going with you guys on your 4 day cruise. We saw her in May when we were down there.

Wow, what a group we have formed, huh?

We have cruised with you and Jerry twice, and this year will make 2 cruises with Frank and Maureen and the kids, 3 cruises with Tim and Kamy, and also 3 with Paul and Pam!

Not to mention 2 with Doug and Christy. Good stuff!!

Ok, and now for those of you actually GOING on this cruise...

We have decided to host the DIS gathering on Sunday, at 2:00 PM. I am hoping that nobody has a major conflict with that. And, that by telling you this far in advance, those of you that care to come can plan around it!

We have early dinner seating, therefore we will need to get ready around 5-ish, so that gives us all 3 hours together to 'break the ice'.

So, any objections, voice 'em now, otherwise, be there at 2:00 PM on Sunday for cake, champagne and laughs. (Tim will be there, so trust me... You'll laugh. He's weird).

Well we're offical, we paid off our cruise today. Boy did that hurt. But with the pain, came the news that our cat 11 gty got upgraded to a cat 9 we will be in cabin 2512, that put the smile right back on my face.

Beano-your party plans sound great.

Like everyone else, I cant wait to book the excursions. Has anyone tried the Kayaking excursion on Castaway Cay, I dont remember it being offered last year. If you did, what did you think?

Paying off the cruise might be a good idea, yes. I should do that myself!

I suppose it would make it easier to have the party if we were actually on board!

Congrats on your upgrade Doberman!!! Cat 9 has an awesome porthole! I loved it when we had it before!

This cruise is gonna be great! Not only do I get to see my DIS friends, but meet some new ones!!! (and drink sailaway drinks......yum)! LOL!
