Last 2 weeks in August??!

HI everyone,
I have never ventured to the World in summer before, although have been early September. My daughter has just started senior school, so we cannot go out of term time anymore. I was just wondering if the crowd levels are still really high or if they are starting to dwindle like early September. Thanx for any info

Normally the crowd level drops during the last two weeks ouf August. Most of the Southern states are back to school. We have been several times in August and though it is not quite as slow as September it is still the slowest of all summer months.

We were just there this year from 8/18-8/26 and the crowds were not too bad. I would just avoid the parks that have the EMH, they were the most crowded.

Although, keep in mind that Florida schools will not be in session until the last week of August/early Sptemeber in 2007 thanks to the new law passed this year. This will surely change the expected crowd levels of the parks.
