Please give me your opinions of what we should expect the last two weeks in April... crowds, weather, specials, anything. THANKS!!!!

:) :) :) :)

I have only gone to DL once in April and it was towards the end of the month. The weather was beautiful and it was quiet as far as crowds go. I don't remember any specials. Also, I don't recall there being fireworks...but that doesn't mean there weren't any. I just don't remember them.:)

I would love to go again during April, but I work for the school district.

Thanks for the info... I think we are going to make some ressies and do it!

Check the posted hours at Disneyland's website. You can generally tell what kind of crowds they're expecting by how long they're open each day. Late April looks pretty good.

I think there may be the odd area that has spring break still (mid april), but not stopping us from coming down

We'll be there the last few days of the month, along with the DIS Ladies Only group. The Food and Wine Festival is going on then, I'm not sure if that brings in a lot of folks or not.

Here's hoping for low crowds! :goodvibes

I know that there's a cheerleading convention going on but have never been during that time so I'm not sure how that will affect crowds. You can also check the anaheimoc site to check convention #s. But overall, it seems like it should be good & usually April has nice weather.

We'll be there 4/20-4/23, I'm hopin' the cheerleaders head home on Sun. There are no fireworks Mon ~ Wed so we'll catch them on Sun. and hopefully enjoy lower crowds on the weekdays.

yeah, this year, the spring break doesnt even touch April. only in march this year. Last year, spring break was considered to be the first two weeks of April. now its the last 2 weeks of march...

How can I find out the exact dates of this cheerleader thing? Does anyone know the dates? I'd love to avoid it... :cheer2:

Thanks!:)

I'll be there 4/22-4/26. The weather should be amazing, and I am really hoping the crowds will be minimal. We went in early October, and it wasn't super crowded, but it wasn't dead either. I am expecting a similar situation this time around.

i'm going 4-26 to 4-29 (4 day hopper pass)
for the FIRST time!!!

hoping for good weather and low crowds as well (i live in SD so driving up in the wee morning hours to get in on a MM -- staying on site)
